Actress, Maera Misshra, who had risen to fame from the reality show, Spiltsvilla 11 had, later on, proved her mettle in acting in various television shows. However, what had made her hit the headlines was her relationship with Shekhar Summan's son, Adhyayan Summan. The couple had never missed a chance to express their love for each other and their public display of affection was surreal.
The way Maera and Adhyayan seemed to be head-over-heels in love with each other, their fans had thought that they would make it to eternity. However, in the beginning of 2021, Maera Misshra had confirmed her breakup with her then-boyfriend, Adhyayan Summan to The Times Of India. She had told the publication that things did not work out between them because Adhyayan turned out to be different than what she had thought of him.

In a recent interview with ETimes TV, when Maera Misshra was asked whether she would prefer to participate in Bigg Boss, she stated that she would definitely love to do it but there is only one thing that still upsets her. On being asked what it is, she told the portal that she is still addressed as Adhyayan Summan's ex but she has an identity of her own.
Stating the same, she said, "Why not? I would love to do it. But I am upset about one thing.Why am I so frequently referred to as Adhyayan Summan's ex? I have an identity of my own. Before Adhyayan came into my life, I was written as Maera Misshra."

Going further in the interview, Maera shared that she and Adhyayan were together for a very brief period of time and there is no point behind stretching it even now. She said, "Adhyayan and I were together for a brief period. It was good while it lasted. But we couldn't sustain it. That's the end of the story."
She also added, "Why are bigger actors not referred to as someone's ex? Why these double standards? This is not fair, neither to me nor to Adhyayan. I am sure that if there's someone else in my life now, he too won't like it." However, when Maera Misshra was asked if there is somebody special in her life now, she replied that she is seeing someone but he is not from the industry.

On the work front, Maera Misshra has worked in television shows like Ishqbaaz, Udaan, Bahu Begum and Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega.
