Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are hailed as the ‘IT’ couple in Bollywood for a reason. The duo, who dated one another secretively for quite some time, melted a zillion hearts with their adorable wedding pictures as they got hitched on December 9, 2021. Fast forward to now, both Vicky and Katrina never leave a chance to paint the town red with their chemistry. Moreover, the couple is also popular on the internet for sharing special anecdotes about one another.
Joining in on the controversial chat show, Koffee With Karan 8, Vicky Kaushal spilt beans about his very last-minute proposal to his ladylove, Katrina Kaif. While they had been dating one another for quite some time, Vicky never got an opportunity to propose to his ladylove. Sharing the special proposal story on the show, Vicky revealed that it was quite a last-minute one, just a day before their wedding. Citing how he was told by many that skipping a proposal would result in Katrina complaining about it all their life, the actor mentioned:
“It was dramatic, but it was not as well planned as Sid and Kiara. It was very last-minute. I had been warned by everybody that if you don’t propose, it’s something you’ll have to be prepared for the rest of your life to hear about. I did it one day before wedding.”

Continuing with his proposal story, Vicky revealed that the first night they reached their resort in Sawai Madhopur, he immaculately planned a special dinner for Katrina, right before any other guest or family member reached the venue. Having their own private moment together, Vicky shared that he went down on his knees and proposed to Katrina. In his words:
“Yeah, we were there, and then on the first night that we reached there, we planned a special dinner. It was a beautiful setup and everything. There was dinner just before any of the friends or families could come. It was just us, so, yeah, it happened there.”
Recently, while attending the prestigious Red Sea Film Festival, Katrina Kaif reminisced about her wedding day and revealed having cold feet before the big moment in her life. She mentioned that her marriage with Vicky Kaushal took place at a time when the country just recovered from the effects of the pandemic, followed by a complete lockdown. She mentioned that her only wish to was to have her entire family by her side on the day, and hoped that everything would get concluded seamlessly.

In one of his earlier interviews with Pinkvilla, Vicky Kaushal revealed a hilarious anecdote, concerning his better half, Katrina Kaif. The actor mentioned how before his wedding, he had half-way completed the shoot for his film, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, and was supposed to resume two days after his wedding. The actor then mentioned how such a deadline irked his ladylove, Katrina, who simply warned him to cancel their wedding, if he had to return to work so soon.
