Valentines’ Day is round the corner, and so are the number of days that are following up till the lovers’ day. While some of you may be busy making plans or planning surprises for your bae, some of you out there might be making a face looking at couples, or better, treat yourself to some soothing spas or take yourself out to a favourite restaurant, for who said that you can’t be your favourite Valentine? And we bet, one of the most famous faces of the telly world, Krystle D'souza won’t differ from us on the single part! Krystle has recently grabbed a lot of headlines, all due to her dating rumours with Race 3 actor, Freddy Daruwala. While reports had it that Krystle and Freddy was seen getting a little intimate at a party, the actress took to Twitter and banished all such breakup rumours with a ‘give-it-back’ tweet. The same could be read as, “Wow! Never even met this person [Freddy Daruwala] in my life and I am apparently dating and have some ‘growing PDA at private parties’ with him? I don’t know to laugh or be upset about baseless news like these! Also, you might be looking for ‘crystal’ and I might be looking forward to an apology.”
While that definitely cleared it all, we had little knowledge about the actress’s relationship status, until recently, Krystle took to Instagram and with a help of her ‘cap’, revealed her relationship status to her fans. The picture had a beautiful close-up of the Belan Wali Bahu star’s cap, which had the word ‘Currently Single’, written in all caps. She captioned the picture and also revealing her pre-Valentine feeling, shared, “Just subtly putting it out there ...that 13th feb feeling.” Krystle, in one of her Instagram stories also posted a quote about falling in love with the ‘right guy’, which suggests that the stunner might be on a lookout, or rather, still believes in the concept of love. For the unitiated, Krystle D’souza was earlier rumoured to be dating her Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai co-star, Karan Tacker. Although they never denied their dating spree, when asked this duo would always maintain a ‘just friends’ status. Speaking about the same in an interview, Krystle had once shared with Bombay Times, “I don’t think every relationship needs to be defined. I look up to Karan, he inspires me and I can count on him; it’s mutual. We are clear about what equation we share and what we feel for each other. In an interview with the TOI, Karan expressed his feelings for Krystle and said that he is possessive about her. He had shared, “I want people to talk about my work and know me more for my work. But yes, I am very proud of the relationships and women I have been with. I wouldn’t want to admit or deny about this but yes, Krystle and I share a very special bond and I am very possessive about her.”
He had further added, "As actors, our life is already very much in the public eye. I feel that this is the only part of your life that is something that you can hold onto yourself and let no intruder invade the privacy. I am not against in talking about relationships. But once you start talking about it, the whole focus, whole attention becomes about the relationship and it is all that is majorly spoken about. I want people to talk about my work and know me more for my work. But yes, I am very proud of the relationships and women I have been with”.
In a 2017 interview with IANS, Krystle shared that everything written about her alleged affair is a rumour until one spots a ring on her finger. She had stated, “It's lovely that people are so interested in my life. No matter how much you make the world a part of your life through social media, it's never enough. They all want more and I truly understand why. It's their never-ending love for me that wants to know every detail of my life possible. About my love life, I would like to say I am single till I have a ring on the right finger and a wedding date."
Speaking about linkup rumours that he is often associated with, Karan once shared with a media portal, “I don’t give it too much thought. When I began my career, it was a bit difficult to handle rumours, but after a point you learn and understand that speculations are something that will always be a part of every actor’s life. I have been linked- up with every co-star I have worked with —male actors as well!
