Kriti Sanon announced on her social media handle the launch of her production house, Blue Butterfly Films. While everyone from the industry is sending her congratulatory messages, her fans are in awe as they are sure it is in remembrance of her bond with Sushant Singh Rajput, and her way of giving him respect.
On July 4, 2023, Kriti took to her Instagram handle and shared a montage of her production house. She revealed its name and expressed how she is delighted to shift the gear. She added that she has learnt a lot in the past nine years of being in the industry, and now it is time to learn more. Kriti expressed her excitement and tagged her sister, Nupur Sanon. An excerpt of her note can be read as:
"I've been in this magical industry living my dreams for 9years. I’ve taken baby steps, learnt, evolved & grown into the actor I am today! I absolutely lovvvee every bit and aspect of film-making. And now, its time to do more, to be more, to learn more, to tell more stories that touch my heart and hopefully yours too. Here’s to constantly evolving and finding the most beautiful version of yourself."

As soon as Kriti Sanon announced the name of her production house, her fans dug out her old chat with Sushant Singh Rajput. One of her fans shared the screenshot of the discussion website, Reddit. In the picture, we can see Kriti asking Sushant why he kept using the 'blue butterfly'. Kriti, who was then dating Sushant (according to reports), asked him whether it is his love for butterflies or something more. To which, Sushant gave an instant reply. He revealed that the 'blue butterfly' signifies the emergence, the inevitable, the resonance. He also called 'blue butterfly' magical.
