Khushi Kapoor is one of the most popular Gen Z divas at the moment. Younger daughter of filmmaker, Boney Kapoor and late actress, Sridevi, Khushi is all set to follow in the footsteps of her mother and sister, Janhvi Kapoor with her debut film, The Archies. For the unversed, this film also marks the debut of two more star-kids, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda. And now, during a promotional event for her upcoming debut film, Khushi talked about being exposed to a social media enriched generation.
In a recent interaction with NDTV, Khushi Kapoor talked about her take on social media. The diva revealed that she has been exposed to it right from a very young age, and as a result, she has seen a fair side of its negative effects. Moreover, she emphasised that she has learnt to remain desensitised towards it, and now does not take anything to her heart. In her words:
“Unfortunately, I think I was exposed to a lot of it (Social media) from a very young age, so I’ve been kind of desensitised to a lot of it. You learn to differentiate when you read something, whether it stems from someone else’s insecurity. Now, I’ve learned not to take it so much to heart. I don’t really go through everything and overthink it as much as I used to before. Seeing it a lot from a young age has helped me differentiate it now. I value other people’s opinions more who mean more to me, as I know it’s coming from a better place.”

After their mother, Sridevi’s untimely demise in 2018, the Kapoor sisters, Khushi and Janhvi have huddled together like no other, along with their father, Boney Kapoor. Despite all the pain of losing someone special, the three of them try to keep Sridevi alive within them. In one of her previous interview with Vogue, Khushi Kapoor was asked about the her reaction, when her father, Boney would catch her red-handed as she reached home late past the curfew hours. To this, Khushi said that she usually writes a long apology text to her father to make things up to him.
In an interaction with India Today, Janhvi Kapoor talked about her equation with her sister, Khushi Kapoor. During the same she expressed her excitement to see her baby sister’s debut film, Janhvi was also was asked about her reaction if Khushi would get trolled in the future. In her response, Janhvi turned protective and said:
"If anyone says anything bad about her, all these trolls, I am gonna screw them up. I swear, I hate them. She (Khushi) doesn't need tips. She is brilliant."

Well, like most other sibling duos, Khushi Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor share a bond like no other. Proof of the same was found during Diwali 2023, when Khushi was spotted wearing an outfit, which she borrowed from her sister’s wardrobe.
