Katrina's stories featured cute messages along with the posters of Alia's then-upcoming movies like Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and more. However, netizens remained unimpressed about the fact that Alia doesn't do the same for Katrina. The caption from the Reddit can be read as:

Reacting to the post, one user wrote, "I genuinely don't understand why Katrina is kind towards Alia. I mean you can be cordial, that's okay, but she goes out of her way to be nice." Alia Bhatt recently graced the manifestation couch of the show, Koffee With Karan 8. While being on the show, Karan Johar asked Kareena Kapoor if she thought Deepika Padukone is her competitor. To this, Kareena mentioned that it should be a question for Alia rather than her. To this, Alia Bhatt added that there's no competition between her and Deepika, and the latter is her senior. Alia said:
"No, why would she be? She is my senior. There is no competition."

To this, Alia said that she maintains a very good friendship with Ranbir's exes, and she loves them both. To this, Karan further asked her if Ranbir's exes loved her back. To this, Alia said, "Yeah." Alia could be heard saying:
"I'm very, very good friends with his exes and I love them both. And there are others but I don't know them.”
