Popular television actor, Karan Mehra, who is famous for his role as 'Naitik' in the show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has been going through a hard time after his estranged wife, Nisha Rawal, had filed an FIR against him. While Karan had denied the allegation of hitting her, Nisha is adamant about letting the world know her side of the story.
On top of this, Nisha Rawal, had also accused her estranged husband of having an extra-marital affair. However, now in his latest interview, Karan opened about the same and stated that instead of him, it was Nisha, who had an affair back in 2015. Along with this, Karan also talked about alimony money demanded by Nisha from him for the upbringing of their son, Kavish.

In an interview with Aradhana from Desi Pataka, Karan Mehra opened up on the severe accusation made by his estranged wife, Nisha Rawal about him having an extra-marital affair. Reacting to the claim, Karan stated that he never had an affair with someone. But insisted that now, he isn’t going to hold back and want to reveal that his wife had an extra-marital affair back in 2015 that had gone on to continue till 2016. He said, “She actually had an affair in 2015 which went on till 2016.”
Going further in his revelation, Karan Mehra also added that Nisha Rawal’s brother, Rohit Sethia, also requested him with folded hands to forgive his sister for her big mistake. After which, Karan had decided to let go of Nisha’s extra-marital affair, just to keep their married life safe from falling apart. He added, “After which I forgive her. I did everything. Yehi Rohit Sethia gallery main khade hokar mujhse maafi maang raha tha ki meri behen ki zindagi barbaad hojaegi. Usse galti hogayi hai. Uske maa ki meri kya izzat reh jaegi.”

In the same interview, Aradhana told Karan Mehra that his estranged wife, Nisha Rawal, had shared multiple posts on her social media handles in which she had stated that she wanted no alimony from him. Reacting to this, the actor accused his estranged wife of lying on social media and said, “Likhti kuch hai social media par dikhane ke leye, lekin legally kuch aur likha hua hain. Kaagaz toh hamare paas hain. Un papers main toh likha hua hain ki lakho paisey chahiye per month.”
Karan Mehra also added that Nisha Rawal had asked for a huge amount of alimony, in which one can raise almost 50 kids. He said, “Kavish ke leye itne paisey chahiye ptani jitne main 50 bache pal jaaye. Itne zada paisey chahiye. Mereko dedo main apne aap paal lunga. Mereko jarurat nahi hai itne paisey dene ki. And why should I give you money? For what? For raising him? How? Your way? Mujhko nahi chahiye. Ese insaan ke sath toh bacha bilkul bhi safe nahi hain.”
