Bollywood actress, Alia Bhatt became a mommy at the age of 30 when she gave birth to her baby girl, Raha Kapoor, on November 6, 2022. Since then, Alia has been on her toes to get back to her old self and left us stunned with her post-pregnancy transformation. While the new mommy is gearing up for the release of her debut film, Heart Of Stone, in Hollywood, back in India, her fans are waiting to see her on-screen chemistry with her Gully Boy co-star, Ranveer Singh in the film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani.
On June 28, 2023, the film's producer, Karan Johar announced the release of the first song, Tum Kya Mile, from the film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani. He took to his IG handle and shared a picture of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh from their photoshoot and penned a heartfelt note. Sharing the story behind the making and idea of the song, KJo revealed that he wanted to pay homage to his guru, Yash Chopra through the film, but he was not sure that he would be able to match Yash's legacy. Karan's note can be read as:
"In a few hours #tumkyamile will be yours…. I remember at the very onset my instinct was that I wanted to film a love song that would unabashedly pay homage to my guru Yash Chopra…. The thinking evolved mind would say “you can’t match it or even dare to emulate it “, but the fan boy and the ardent lover of snow, chiffons, the stunning locations of Kashmir and sheer romance got the better of me…"

Further in his note, Karan Johar revealed that this was Alia Bhatt's first photoshoot after her daughter, Raha's birth and also apologised to the actress for freezing her in the cold. In the photo, Alia looked stunning as she decked up in a blue-hued chiffon saree from designer, Manish Malhotra and paired it with a strappy blouse. The new mommy radiated an unmissable glow, while her body transformation post-delivery was surreal. KJo added:
"This is also the first shoot Alia did after the birth of her angel and I remain in apology for freezing her in Manish Malhotra chiffons … in sympathy I fell drastically ill through the shoot ( a karmic punishment perhaps) Ranveer was nervous as this was his first lip sync mountain love song but he was a real trooper…. So we are back to the valleys for a ishq wala lip sync chiffon saree song… I hope you feel the love as much as we felt the cold…"
Just like every other girl, Alia Bhatt also has some insecurities when it comes to her skin. In one of her YouTube videos, the actress confessed the same and revealed that her major insecurity is acne. She mentioned that even though she doesn't get massive breakouts, even if she sees one pimple on her face, she picks it up immediately. The new mommy also mentioned that her other insecurity is dry patches on the skin, which scares her a lot. Revealing how her skin became sensitive during her pregnancy, the actress said:
"Especially during my pregnancy, my skin had become extremely sensitive, that's a separate video altogether. I had to really cut down on my skincare routine. I tried so many products which were for sensitive skin, but still, they irritated my skin."
Soon after embracing motherhood, Alia Bhatt got back to her fitness regime, leaving everyone stunned with her post-partum body transformation. In an interview with the Bombay Times, the actress revealed that she is in no rush to look a certain way. Stressing the importance of body positivity, Alia shared that her mantra is to listen to her body and not to be hard on herself. Talking about the same, she said that she loves food, she loves to eat, but she had to lose weight to act in films as she needed to look healthy and appealing.
