Comedian-turned-actor, Kapil Sharma has been hitting the headlines ever since his new show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, was released on Netflix. The show’s first episode aired on March 30, 2024, and since then, it has been tickling the funny bones of the audience. Moreover, the show also marked the coming together of Kapil and Sunil Grover once again after seven years since their fallout.
Recently, Kapil took to his Instagram account and shared a picture of himself with Sunil Grover. In the glimpse, the two comedians can be seen seated inside a plane. While Kapil wore an all-black outfit paired with a lime yellow jacket, Sunil was dressed in a white t-shirt paired with distressed jeans and a beige shirt. Both of them were seen enjoying a glass of juice while they posed for the lens. Moreover, it was Kapil’s sarcastic yet witty caption for the post that caught everyone’s attention. He wrote:
“Don’t worry guys, it’s a small flight.”

Kapil and Sunil used to work on the comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show, and the latter gained immense recognition for his characters ‘Gutthi’ and ‘Dr Mashoor Gulati’. Unfortunately, in 2017, Sunil quit the show after he had a nasty fight with Kapil while they were returning to Mumbai after wrapping a show in Australia. Several reports back then revealed that Kapil was under the influence of alcohol when he attacked Sunil. Following this incident, Sunil had quit the show.
Ever since Kapil and Sunil came together after their feud, the two have not stopped making fun of it. Moreover, Kapil's post left everyone in splits, and even several celebrities penned down their thoughts on it. Bollywood actress, Adah Sharma wrote, “Sonu, drink mein do boond sodium thiosulphate daal hi do. Taste ke liye.” Gajraj Rao said, “Love ju both of you.” His fans also poked fun and said, “Relax guys is baar sirf juice pee rahe hai.”

Before the Netflix show The Great Indian Kapil Show was even released on the streaming platform, Kapil and Sunil were seen partying together. On December 15, 2023, Kapil posted pictures of him having fun with his friends, which included Sunil as well. He captioned the post as “Abhi to party shuru huyi hai.” However, Sunil, being his witty self, responded to the post and said, “Haan lekin sambhal ke party karenge!”
