Kapil Sharma and his gorgeous wife, Ginni Chatrath, are one of the most adored couples in the telly world. While Kapil is known for his humorous nature and witty replies, Ginni is an introvert and prefers to stay away from the limelight. They were friends since their college days, and they had come closer when Kapil had participated in Star One's show, Hans Baliye. Moreover, Ginni had helped Kapil stand back on his feet when he had a professional downfall due to his health issues.
For the unversed, Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath were pronounced husband and wife on December 12, 2018, in Jalandhar. As Kapil and Ginni were to complete one year of their marital bliss in 2019, God had blessed them with the best gift of their lives. Kapil and Ginni had embraced parenthood two days before their first wedding anniversary and became proud parents to a baby girl, Anayra Sharma. Kapil and Ginni's family was completed with the arrival of their second child, Trishaan Sharma, in February 2021.

In a promo video of Kapil Sharma’s upcoming stand-up, I Am Not Done Yet, we witnessed some fun banter between him and his wife, Ginni Chatrath. While Ginni doesn't make appearances in public, she was seen sitting in the audience. In one of the segments, Kapil told the audience that his father had guided him about managing the house and his sister’s marriage. Kapil further added that his father didn’t tell him whom to settle down with. He can be heard saying, "I knew whom to settle down with. That was Ginni, my wife.” He then asked his wife, Ginni:
"What made you fall in love with a scooter owner?"
To which, Ginni gave a sassy reply that made the audience go ROFL. She said:
“Everyone falls in love with a rich guy. I thought of doing some charity for the poor guy.”

In another segment, Kapil shared that he would often stand in front of the mirror and practice saying, "I am not done yet", which is the title of his standup. The comedian made the audience laugh out loud as he opened up about his wife's reaction to him doing the same. He said:
“My wife Ginni would throw pillows at me and scream ‘We had two babies in one and half years. What’s your plan?’”
Some time back, Kapil Sharma had shared a promo video from a Punjabi chat show, wherein he was invited as a guest. In the video, we could see one of the hosts of the show asking him, when had he realised falling in love with his now-wife, Ginni. To this, Kapil had said that he still didn't know when, how and why. Taking a funny dig, the other host, Ghuggi, had said that Kapil was sure that he had fallen in love, but it looks like he isn't serious about it. To which Kapil had replied, "You will surely get me divorced after this." Check out the video of the same below:
