Apart from this, she is also known for her stunning acting sense and has bagged several accolades for the same. However, after slamming those who prefer wearing western clothes, Kangana was spotted donning a sultry gown to attend an event.
On June 30, 2023, Kangana Ranaut attended the after party of the upcoming film, Tiku Weds Sheru, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur in leading roles. Afterwards, taking to her IG handle, she shared an array of pictures of her look for the party. In the pictures, she was wearing a sultry dress and looked stunning. Sharing the pictures, Kangana wrote:
"Mom said there is a time to play and there is a time to study ha ha my saying is there is a time to work and there is a time to party … Especially when @manikarnikafilms first production becomes a super hit, it’s time for a grand party #tikuwedsssheru #nawazuddinsiddiqui and #avneetkaur."

Kangana's dress featured a dual-toned gown with yellow-hued cups covering her assets. She teamed it with glittery shoes and a pin-straight hairdo. She accentuated her look with danglers and glam makeup, including brown eyeshadow, defined brows, winged eyeliner, nude lipstick and highlighted cheeks. Altogether, she looked graceful. However, her attire completely contradicted what she said about the impact of capitalism and the choice of American clothes on Indian women.
Earlier in June 2023, Kangana took the credit for starting the trend of airport looks in the country. Along with it, she shared one after the other stories blaming the stupid trend and called herself a “victim of capitalism”. She also mentioned being “Brainwashed by magazine editors and the fashion industry" and revealed how she thinks her people, like weavers and handicraftsmen are dying slow and steady death. She mentioned this as a trap and how fashion brands make people work for them for free by just sending clothes and bags. Not only this, on May 26, 2023, Kangana took to her Twitter handle and reposted a tweet, wherein a person had called out a girl for wearing shorts at Baijnath temple in Himachal Pradesh. The actress too, bashed the girl, who wore shorts to a temple and recalled when she was on vacation, she was refused entry to the Vatican because of her clothes, and she had to go back to the hotel to change. Kangana didn't like the fact that the girl wore a striped crop top and shorts at a religious place. She called them clowns for wearing night dresses as if they were casuals.
