The Ambanis hosted a lavish event worth more than a thousand crores INR, reportedly for celebrating Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding ceremonies. Thus, the event was attended by who's who from various fields across the world. Not only that, the programs also saw performances by eminent celebrities from Bollywood and even outside India. From Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Salman Khan, and Deepika Padukone to many others took their best foot forward in order to entertain the guests over there.
Now, Kangana Ranaut, who is known as the queen of controversy, allegedly took an indirect dig at those who performed at the Ambani bash. Taking to her Instagram stories, she shared a screenshot of an article on the late singer, Lata Mangeshkar. The headline read, "Even if you give me five million dollars I won’t come: When Lata Mangeshkar refused to sing at wedding." Afterwards, comparing her with the late legendary singer, Kangana wrote:
"I have been through worse financial setbacks, but Lata ji and I are only two people who have massive hit songs (fashion ka jalwa, ghani baawli ho gayi, London thumkda, Sadi galli, Vijay bhawa etc.) to our credit."

Afterwards, Kangana penned how, despite facing financial struggles, she never danced at various weddings. She then mentioned that solid willpower and dignity are integral to a human being's personality. Elaborating more on it, she continued,
"But no matter how many temptations I got I never danced in the weddings, many super hit item songs were also offered to me, soon I avoided award shows also. It takes strong character and dignity to say no to fame and money, in the world of short cuts young generation needs to understand only wealth one can acquire is the wealth of integrity (thumbs up emoji)."
The lavish celebration for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding ceremony was graced by actors, including Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Rani Mukerji, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Aditya Roy Kapur, and many others. The pre-wedding ceremonies began with a stunning performance by Barbarian singer, Rihanna on the night of March 1, 2024. Following this, we got to see many dance performances by Bollywood celebrities.
