Popular TV and Bollywood actor, Rajeev Khandelwal’s talk show, JuzzBaatt is undoubtedly a platform where we get insights into the personal lives of our favourite TV celebs. The show has, until now, been graced by famous TV actors like Divyanka Tripathi, Karan Patel, Ronit Roy and many others. Jay and Mahhi’s appearance on JuzzBaatt witnessed innumerable memory-rides, laughter moments and emotional anecdotes. But the sweetest thing that happened on the show was when Jay had to say something to Mahhi which would sweep her off the feet. And guess what? Jay Bhanushali promised babies to wife Mahhi Vij and the actress, then, could not hold her tears back.
Jay was quoted as saying, “We have been discussing having babies for a while now, so let us take this forward”. Wow! Aren’t these the best words any husband could tell her wife? For the uninitiated ones, last year Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij adopted two kids of their caretaker who has been with them for fifteen years now. According to a media portal, Mahhi was quoted as saying, “A lot of people keep asking my friends if they are our kids because we feel that they are our kids. We want to give them the best in our capabilities. I don’t care what people say they have all the time in the world to talk. They stay with us we have no issues of them being a part of our space. Kids are adorable, Jay and I love them”.
After this adoption, when Mahhi was asked about her life, her answer didn’t ring of any hint that she and Jay are planning biological kids of their own, and in fact, she said that she is only focussing on her career. She had said, “As of now I’m concentrating on my career. We are not planning to start a family now because we want to earn something or show the world how good we are it is our inner soul which makes us do so. We want to give them best of everything just like we would want to give it our own kids”.
For those who do not know, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij got married on November 11, 2011, in a very secretive affair. Mahhi was seen sporting a mangalsutra at a friend’s sangeet ceremony and that’s when she confirmed about her marriage with Jay. She had then said, “We wanted it this way. We didn’t want to make a song and dance about it. If somebody asks we let them know”. Talking about her love for Jay, Mahhi once shared, “I am possessive but not an insecure wife. And I think every woman is possessive towards her husband. I don’t fear losing Jay. He can’t stay away from me for more than half an hour. My love is too strong to lose him”.
