The nation had woken up to the sad news and everyone had tears in their eyes. The actress was in Dubai to attend her nephew’s wedding and a few days after, was found dead in her bathtub in a hotel. Nobody could believe the truth and it took everyone days to come to terms with the fact. The demise of Sridevi had created a void in the Kapoor family that can never be filled. We had always seen Sridevi being accompanied by her daughters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor and our hearts had felt their pain, wondering how the girls will deal with the loss of their mother. However, Janhvi and Khushi had maintained a brave stance then, yet their heart still belongs to their late mother, Sridevi. As it is Sridevi’s third death anniversary, her daughter, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and her husband, Boney Kapoor are in Chennai for a puja.

A picture from the same is going viral over the internet, breaking our hearts all over again. However, what broke our hearts more was Janhvi’s ‘miss u’ post on her IG handle. Taking to her IG handle, Janhvi shared a handwritten letter of her late mother, Sridevi, where she had penned her love for her daughter. In the handwritten note, we can read a heartmelting message written from a mother for her baby and it can be read as “I love you my labbu you are the best baby in the world.” Sharing her mother’s note, Janhvi captioned it as “Miss u.”
Janhvi Kapoor was all set to make her big debut in Bollywood with her film, Dhadak, when Sridevi had left for the heavenly abode. The mummy’s girl, Janhvi’s heart must ache even now as she was not with her mother in her last days as she was shooting for her first film in India. In her first-ever formal interview post her mother’s demise, Janhvi had talked about coping with the tragedy. While talking to Vogue in an interview taken by Karan Johar, she had said, “The family has come together. It’s made us feel safe and secure. Even for papa (Boney Kapoor), it’s a source of comfort. It has definitely tied us together. We’ve lost mum, and I don’t think that’s a loss any of us will ever get over”.
When Karan Johar had asked Janhvi if she feels any void, she had revealed her last words to Sridevi before she had left for Dubai where she had died. She had said, "Of course. I could always be the baby with her. When I’d wake up, the first thing I’d do was ask for her. I’d need her to put me to sleep sometimes and she literally had to feed me. The day before she left for the wedding, I had to shoot, but I couldn’t sleep, so I was like, “I need you to come and put me to sleep.” But she was packing, so by the time she came to me I was half asleep. But I could feel her patting my head".
