Imran Khan, who left the industry in 2015, is all set to return to the silver screen. He has been giving interviews and proving to the world that his comeback will be bigger than his debut. The energy with which Imran has bounced back resonates with many people, and it inspires them as their life can restart at any given point in time. Apart from his professional life, his personal life has also gotten back on track as he has found love in the model-actress, Lekha Washington.
On May 16, 2024, Lekha took to her Instagram handle and posted a first picture with her beau, Imran. In the silhouette photo, we can clearly see Lekha and Imran lost in each other's eyes against the jaw-dropping backdrop of the sky. However, Lekha didn't write anything as the caption and she let her picture express all her emotions. Earlier, in an interview with Vogue, Imran confirmed his relationship. He also corrected people's assumptions and revealed that their relationship started after his separation from his ex-wife, Avantika Malik.

Lekha was present for Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's registered wedding in Mumbai. She arrived hand-in-hand with her beau, Imran Khan. However, we loved Lekha's outfit choice for the event. She picked a sleeveless velvet blouse with a Banarasi skirt. She teamed it with a cape-style dupatta, which featured heavy embroidery all over it. Her look was accentuated with a matha patti and a neckpiece. On the other hand, Imran wore a tuxedo.
Earlier, in an interview with Vogue India, Imran Khan first time talked about the reason why he left acting. He stated that he had hit a rough patch in 2016, where he felt broken from the inside. The actor stated that, luckily, he was financially stable till 30. Imran also added that he didn't feel excited to work as an actor, and was looking for motivation and found it in his daughter, Imara.
After his daughter's birth, Imran Khan decided to fix himself and be the 'healthiest' and 'strongest' version of himself for her. Imran was quoted as saying:
"I hit a low in 2016 where I felt broken inside. Luckily, I was working in an industry that had rewarded me financially, so by the time I was 30, I didn't have to worry about money. At that point, it wasn't my career because I wasn't excited by it enough to want to work hard for it. I had recently become a father and thought, ‘This is valuable. This is something I take seriously.' I wanted to be the best version of myself for Imara. I decided it was no longer my job to be an actor. Now, I had to fix myself; be at my healthiest and strongest for my daughter."
