Popular actor, Imran Khan made his Bollywood debut with the 2008 film, Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na. However, even after giving some stellar performances in films like Kidnap, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, I Hate Luv Storys, Delhi Belly and many others, he has been missing from the limelight post working in the film, Katti Batti, in 2015. Coming to his personal life, Imran got separated from his estranged wife, Avantika Malik in 2019, and after some time, there were multiple rumours of his alleged affair with Lekha Washington. Once again, the alleged lovebirds attended Kriti Kharbanda's birthday bash together.
On October 30, 2023, Kriti Kharbanda hosted a lavish birthday bash and the party was attended by many A-listers from the industry. The event was also graced by Imran Khan along with his alleged girlfriend, Lekha Washington. In a few pictures and videos that surfaced on the internet, Imran was seen happily posing with Lekha. The actor looked handsome in a black full-sleeved T-shirt paired with grey pants and white sneakers. On the other hand, Lekha donned a flowy gown with a plunging neckline paired with a shrug, subtle makeup and an open hairdo.

Kriti Kharbanda's birthday bash was attended by many of her close friends from the industry, including her darling boyfriend, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Sanon, Suniel Shetty with his daughter, Athiya Shetty, Richa Chadha and her husband, Ali Fazal and many more. For the event, the birthday girl looked stunning in a pink-hued mini dress with a plunging neckline. She teamed her look with glam makeup, including winged eyes, pink lipstick, blushed cheeks, and an open hairstyle.

A while back, in one of the videos shared by the paps, Imran Khan was seen holding Lekha Washington's hands as they exited a place. They were seen enjoying each other's company, and it was their chemistry that caught everyone's attention. In the glimpses, Imran looked handsome in a black t-shirt and blue jeans, while Lekha looked pretty in a black-hued printed dress. Though they ignited their relationship rumours with their outing glimpses, but there has been no confirmation about the same.

For those unversed, Imran Khan tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart, Avantika Malik on January 10, 2011, and on June 9, 2014, they welcomed a little girl, Imara Malik Khan, into their lives. However, their relationship hit a rough patch in 2019, and reports of their separation surfaced online. Afterwards, a report in Bollywood Hungama claimed Imran's alleged affair with South Indian actress, Lekha led to his split with his wife, Avantika.
A source close to the actor revealed to the publication that Imran and Lekha were in contact with each other for a very long time since the actor was a great friend of Lekha's husband, Pablo Chatterji. Still, the two started liking each other, and their rumoured affair began without anyone's knowledge. The report also claimed that Imran even bought or rented a property at Pali Hill, Bandra, close to his own house, in order to meet his alleged ladylove, Lekha Washington, away from everyone's eyes. The source added:
"In fact, after Avantika moved out of the bungalow, Imran has started introducing Lekha to his circle as well. This has also brought Lekha's marriage on the brink of a breakdown. Both the families are completely scattered at this point."
