Every year, with a lot enthusiasm, we bring home our Ganpati Bappa, ask for his blessings and serve him the yummiest bhog. Anant Chaturthi, is the day which marks the end of the 10-day long Ganesh festival. With tears in eyes and a heavy heart, everyone prays to Bappa to come early next year. The visarjan shows the most painful sight of love between the God and his devotees. And like everyone else, Bollywood actor, Hrithik Roshan also bid goodbye to Ganpati Bappa(Recommend Read: Virat Kohli Reveals His And Anushka Sharma's Reaction When They Had Found Out About Her Pregnancy)

Before we take you further into the story, let us remind you that due to the pandemic, Hrithik and his ex-wife, Sussanne Khan are living together and co-parenting their boys, Hrehaan Roshan and Hridhaan Roshan. When the Government had passed overnight 'stay at home' orders in the nation, Sussanne had temporarily shifted to Hrithik's house. So, both parents could enjoy their time with their kids.

On September 1, 2020, Hrithik took to his Instagram handle and shared a glimpse of Ganesh Visarjan with his ex-wife, Sussanne and his family. Alongside the picture, he reminisced one of the precious childhood memories and wrote, "Ganpati festival always brings back my childhood. Perhaps all our festivals are centred around making the child in us feel comforted, united, surrounded by friends and family showering love upon you for no specific reason. Atleast that’s what it always was about for me. More than religion, it was about love. Ganpati especially has to be my dearest of them all. Haha as a child I really felt that he listened to me. Still do." Check it out:

Coming back to the decision of living together amidst the pandemic, Sussanne had talked about the same in an interview with the Vogue magazine. She had opened up on the decision of co-parenting with Hrithik and had said, "When COVID-19 was declared a pandemic and the news was out that a lockdown would be imperative, Hrithik and I decided that staying together in the same home would be the more intelligent and soulful decision for our sons, and for us. We realised early on that the days ahead would require us to regroup our energies towards creating serenity for one another. With that thought in mind, and a heap full of love, we started on our lockdown adventure." (Also Read: Esha Deol's Rare Childhood Picture With 'Papa', Dharmendra, Standing On His Back For Horse Ride)

Sussanne had further shared how on the first day, they had sat together and had jotted down a list of activities they were wishing to do amidst quarantine. She had stated, "So here we are, in lockdown for more than 45 days, living through an unusual time that we have never experienced before in our lifetimes. On the first day itself, we sat together and created a list of ‘quarantivities’ (activities to do as a family in quarantine). The idea was to structure our days in such a way that we grow our minds, warm our hearts and keep our bodies fit and strong—where we have no option but to use a little creativity and innovation to enjoy our days without a sense of monotony seeping through." (Don't Miss: Yami Gautam Shares A Twinning Picture With Her Sister Surilie In Matching Red Outfits, Looks Amazing)
