Bollywood actor Govinda is married to the love of his life, Sunita Ahuja. Their wedding was kept away from the limelight for a long time. Thus, people from within and outside the industry often remain curious about it. However, after many years of marriage, they renewed their wedding vows, which proved that the spark is still alive in their lovely relationship.
It was when Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja graced the popular reality show, Dance Deewane's season 4. Therein, Madhuri Dixit, who was also sitting on the judge's panel, asked the legendary danced-cum-actor, Govinda, about his super-secretive marriage with Sunita. Madhuri stated, "Govinda ji, aapki shaadi kab hui? Kuch pata hi nhi chala." To this, Sunita was heard saying, "Humari shaadi ki koi photos nhi hai." But without missing the chance, Madhuri soon jumped into the conversation and added:
"Photos nhi hai toh kya huya, Dance Deewane ka parivaar hai, aaj hum aapka varmala karwayenge."

Afterwards, we can see a love-filled moment between Govinda and Sunita as they exchange the varmalas while being surrounded by the entire Dance Deewane team. The duo was also seen twinning in pink ensembles and looked cute together. After exchanging the varmala, they were also seen dancing, and then they finally shared a warm hug. Together, they looked extremely elated.

Earlier, during an old interview with Simi Garewal, Govinda opened up about how he fell for his wife, Sunita. He mentioned that they first met through family members when Govinda’s uncle and Sunita’s sister were married to one another. Sunita, who was also present during the same interview, mentioned that her relationship with Govinda was feisty at first. But she also stated how they felt butterflies in their stomach when their hand accidentally brushed against each other. Then, Govinda said in the interview how they liked each other a little bit but would often fight.

In the same conversation, Govinda was also asked about the reason why he kept his marriage with Sunita a secret. To this, he revealed that at that time, he thought his marital status would ruin his career in Bollywood as keeping marriages a secret was a pretty common norm back in those days. Thus, Govinda and Sunita had then decided to keep their marriage a secret. But soon after that, the actor realised that it was a mistake. However, he said his wife was kind enough to support his decision. Then, Sunita was also asked if she ever felt bad about it, and she denied it.
