Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora got married in the year 1998. Soon after, they become parents to their adorable son, Arhaan Khan. However, after 19 years of marital bliss, Arbaaz and Malaika's paradise hit trouble, and they got divorced. Despite their separation, Malaika and Arbaaz continue to co-parent their son, Arhaan. Since last year, reports about Arbaaz and Giorgia's breakup made rounds on social media. Well, it seems like the rumours weren't any wrong. Recently, in an interview, Giorgia Andriani confirmed the news and opened up about her breakup with Arbaaz. Recently, Giorgia Andriani sat for an interview with Pinkvilla. In the video, Giorgia Andriani bared her heart out as she opened up about her breakup with Arbaaz Khan. Giorgia said that she and Arbaaz were best friends, and she will always have feelings for him.

Giorgia also stated that Arbaaz's connection with Malaika did not stand in the way of her relationship with the actor. She also added that to be labelled as 'someone's friend' is very demeaning to her. Speaking along the same lines, she said that both she and Arbaaz knew that their relationship wouldn't last long as they were different. Giorgia can be quoted as saying:
"We were best friends and I will always have feelings for him. The relationship that he had with Malaika did not really come in the way of my relationship with them. What I am now… to be called somebody’s friend, I definitely find it very demeaning. We both know it wouldn’t have lasted forever because we were very different."
Earlier, Karan Johar appeared on Malaika Arora's show, Moving In With Malaika. While there, Karan asked Malaika if she had talked to Arbaaz about his breakup speculations with Giorgia Andriani. To this, Malaika said that she doesn't have the tendency to ask her ex-husband or son about their personal affairs. She also added that while some other divorcee couples seek information about each other from their kids, she restrain herself from that. In the same conversation, Karan asked Malaika about her equation with Arbaaz. To this, she said that it's 'lovely' and far better now.

Almost a year ago, Giorgia Andriani opened up about her relationship with Arbaaz Khan for the first time. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, she was asked about the kind of relationship she shared with Arbaaz. To this, Giorgia reveals that they are good friends and not looking into marriage or anything. The diva also added that it was the pandemic that brought her and Arbaaz close. In the same interview, Giorgia also heaped praise on Malaika. Giorgia shared that she appreciates Malaika's journey from being a model to an actress and really admires her.
