Bollywood actress, Aishwarya Rai is widely popular for her fashion choices. Time and again, her onscreen and offscreen looks have been repeated by millions of her fans. She once wore a black-hued saree at ace makeup artist, Mickey Contractor's MAC Party in 2018. Later, during the launch event of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre on March 31, 2023, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's bahu-to-be, Radhika Merchant was spotted donning a similar black embroidered saree. For the unversed, Radhika got engaged to Anant Ambani on January 19, 2023.
For one of the looks at the NMACC launch event, Radhika Merchant donned a black-hued Shahab Durazi saree and grabbed millions of eyes. In one of the videos that surfaced on the internet then, the Ambani bahu-to-be was seen twinning with her fiance, Anant Ambani. While Radhika looked elegant in the Indo-western style lace saree, Anant opted for a black sherwani featuring self-printed motifs.

Radhika teamed her saree with a corset-style blouse, which also featured frilled detailing on both sleeves. Side-parted wavy tresses, glam makeup, including winged eyes, blushed and highlighted cheeks, and bold red lips completed her look. She accessorised her look with a diamond and ruby-encrusted sleek neckpiece, matching earrings, a statement ring and a bracelet. In addition, she was seen carrying a silver-coloured mini Hermes Kellymorphose bag.
On the other hand, a similar Shahab Durazi saree was worn by Aishwarya Rai when she graced the ace makeup artist, Mickey Contractor's MAC party at Arth in Bandra, Mumbai, on January 18, 2018. The same party was graced by many eminent stars of the industry, and Aishwarya attended the event along with her darling husband, Abhishek Bachchan. The duo was seen twinning in black ensembles. While the actress looked glorious in the saree, Abhishek opted for a glossy suit paired with matching pants.

Aishwarya teamed her saree with a sleeveless blouse which featured unique embroidery on the straps. Moreover, glam makeup, including brown eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, bold red lips and blushed cheeks, finished off her look. Straight open tresses, diamond earrings and a silver-hued clutch added stars to Aishwarya's overall look.
The iconic black-hued Shahab Durazi saree featured contrasting white-hued floral embroidery all across it. In addition, the sheer black fabric, along with the broad silver border, made the saree an elegant piece of clothing. On doing some research, we found that the saree came with a whopping price tag of Rs. 5,85,000.
