Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor have been one such couple who had hit the headlines both during their relationship, as well as after it ended. For the unversed, the duo developed feelings for one another when they came together for their film, Bachna Ae Haseeno. Thereafter, rest became history. Nevertheless, after what seemed to be some serious relationship goals between the couple and even their fans speculated about them walking down the aisle, the duo called it quits.
While the reason was unknown to many initially, it was much later when Deepika herself spilled beans about their breakup and cited Ranbir’s cassanova behaviour for the same. Moreover, she also mentioned how such a distressing period of time made her fall down in her career graph and succumb to depression. In her words:
“When I am in a relationship, I give it my all. I am totally committed and devoted. Somehow in all my relationships, it has been the guy who has strayed. You can ignore something if it happens once, but if it keeps happening, you have to realise that something is wrong."

Preity Zinta dated her IPL Team, Kings XI Punjab’s co-owner, Ness Wadia for a long time. Interestingly, it had been their shared love for the sport that had made them to own a team of their own. Unfortunately, this couple, too had an ugly fallout in their relationship at a time when they happened to be at the peak of their relationship.
Their embroilment took place during the IPL match in 2014, where Ness had reportedly threatened Preity publicly in the Wankhede Stadium. Their angry conversation had gone so far that the actress had to file a case against him. In her report, she mentioned:
“Ness intimidated me by saying he could make me disappear as I was a nobody and only an actress and he's a powerful person...this afore-stated incident in Mumbai in the Wankhede Stadium has left me shattered and fear for my life. Filmmaker, Sajid Khan has been quite infamously known for his close proximity with scandals and controversies. Proof of the same was found at a time when he publicly dragged his relationship with Jacqueline Fernandez and broke up with her during the same.
According to Sajid, Jacqueline had been a demanding woman in his life, and therefore she was the reason for creating distractions in his professional life.
