To everyone’s shock famous Bollywood damsel, Dia Mirza parted ways with her husband, Sahil Sangha after being in a blissful marital bond for 5 long years and 11 years of togetherness. The joint statement could be read as, “After 11 years of sharing our lives and being together, we have mutually decided to separate. We remain friends and will continue to be there for each other with love and respect. While our journeys may lead us down different paths, we are forever grateful for the bond that we share with each other. We thank our family and our friends for all their love and understanding and members of the media for their continued support and request everyone to respect our need for privacy at this time. Dia and Sahil have always been a romantic couple, to whom everyone used to look up to for relationship goals. We wonder what might have gone wrong between them that they took such a step! In fact, it was on July 16, 2019, which happened to be Sahil’s birthday that Dia had wished him on her official Instagram handle. Talking about her wedding once, Dia was quoted as saying, “I am very happy. It was a beautiful Arya Samaj ceremony. The vows were explained to us. It was wonderful because it was good to be conscious of what you are going through, and what are the vows you are exchanging. It was a dream wedding.”
Explaining his love for Dia and how important she is to him, Sahil had once said in an interview to a media portal, “What I love the most about her is that in one word, she is pure. She is very giving and all heart, which is also a problem as then you need to take care of your heart. Dia was quoted as saying, “It's important as parents to recognise the fact that. Yes, your children are important and they mean the world to you and their happiness must mean the world to you.
