Television actress, Delnaaz Irani is the happiest as she got the filmy proposal from her longtime beau, DJ Percy Karkaria. The actress' 50th birthday became a new start of her life as Percy popped the question and she accepted it. However, there is a twist to the adorable couple's love story as Percy had not asked her hand for marriage, but rather a promise to grow old together. Aww, isn't it cute?
For the unversed, Delnaaz Irani is in a live-in relationship with DJ Percy. Earlier, Delnaaz Irani was married to Rajeev Paul. However, the ex-couple parted ways after fourteen years of marriage in 2010. Their separation made headlines when they participated in the reality show, Bigg Boss 6. But the past is in the past, as Delnaaz has moved on in her life.

Recently, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Delnaaz revealed why they are not planning to get married. The actress shared that she is a superstitious person, and has consulted many pandits, astrologers and tarot card readers. Delnaaz further added that they all had advised her to stay the way they are, and not get married. She said:
"Our families know what path we are going to be taking. I am a very superstitious person. There is not a single pandit that I have not gone to, or an astrologer or a tarot card reader, and everybody has told me that the way we are right now is just perfect…To be honest, that is holding me back."
Talking about the proposal ring, Delnaaz shared that it was more like a promise ring, it is a commitment for life. They have promised to be with each other until the end of the road. Delnaaz also shared that they are just like a married couple. However, she also added that if she ever finds the need, she will sign the papers.
