On September 15, 2023, Deepika Padukone took to her Instagram stories and dropped a series of pictures of her look from the Jawan press conference. For the event, the gorgeousness slipped into a simple yet elegant white-coloured saree that featured a sleek-black sequin border. Deepika styled her saree with a stunning high-neck blouse featuring a bare back and knot detail.

Without any doubt, Deepika looked drop-dead gorgeous in the pictures. Keeping it minimal, the actress accentuated her look with a pair of statement kundan green carved stone dangler earrings. Bold winged eyeliner, nude pink lipstick, blushed cheeks, highlighted cheekbones and a sleek bun added stars to Deepika's elegant look.
Soon after Deepika dropped the pictures, a Reddit user re-shared the same on the discussion platform. Within a few seconds, the internet users flooded the comment section of the post with their witty reactions. Though the users praised Deepika for her grace and elegance, they even pointed out her repetitive looks. While one Reddit user commented, "I do miss her wearing "fun" outfits though. During the event, when asked about who among her and Ranveer Singh has more fun with the outfits, the actress took a dig at those who constantly judged her for her outfits. Mentioning how her funky looks often gets compared to Ranveer's style statement, Deepika said:
"I wear a white shirt and blue jeans and everyone’s like so boring, why can’t she try something fun. And then when I try something fun they are like oh now she’s trying to be like her husband. She should just stick to doing the classic stuff that she always does. What do you want?"
