Britney Spears took to her official Instagram handle on August 12, 2023, to share her two cents on Botox. For the unversed, Botox is a popular cosmetic treatment that is used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, skin folds, and lines. The 41-year-old told millions of fans that she is over the cosmetic treatment. She captioned her post as:
“Too many times, these so-called ‘best doctors’ do amazing Botox. Never again in Los Angeles. My first time, I just did lips in New York City. WAY different than LA, so subtle, it was an adorable pout !!!!”
The Toxic singer, Britney Spears said that spending thousands on Botox is not worth it as it can make someone look like they have been beaten up. Instead, she tells her followers that there are forehead-uplifting patches available in the market, which works like magic. Britney claims that the Sio patches work wonders in uplifting the forehead skin and making the eyes look bigger.

The 41-year-old singer, Britney Spears further explained why it is best to use at-home products than the cosmetic treatments that burn a hole in the pocket. She explained why she decided to stop using the drug in the video, citing the cost, forehead swelling, and needles. The singer-songwriter wrote in her caption:
“I’m sharing this because it actually really does work.”

The absence of a tagged account or hashtags in her post reflects that the singer is genuinely amazed by the product. Britney Spears even mentioned that she could not leave her house for two weeks due to the Botox treatment. She also mentioned that the procedure caused her eyelids to droop and her forehead to enlarge, making her scared to go outdoors until the side effects faded. She penned:
“For probably 10 to 15 years, I haven’t had mine done right, and what’s with the times when one eyebrow is up, and one is down? I can’t even be seen for 2 weeks. I cried, and then I’m like, when is this gonna go away? ‘Oh, just give it a week or two.’ Sometimes the nerves act that way and have a reverse effect, and I’m like, ‘I look like somebody beat the shit out of me’ !!! So, of course, I go back and show the doctor. She says that’s completely normal, and I said, ‘then why can’t I go anywhere for two weeks?’ FUCK BOTOX, it is horrific !!! Sio is unbelievable.”
