The late actress, Sridevi needs no introduction. The diva was truly the 'queen of hearts', and she never skipped a chance to win the hearts of her fans with her unparalleled acting chops, divine beauty, and more. Moreover, it was back in 2018, when the actress breathed her last in a tragic drowning accident. There's no denying the fact that this tragic accident left the diva's entire family and fandom heartbroken. However, now and then, Sridevi's husband, Boney Kapoor talks about the actress and reveals unheard anecdotes. The same thing happened again, as Boney talked about the late actress' spiritual side and shared how she used to do some unusual things.
Recently, Boney Kapoor sat for an interview with Zoom, wherein he talked in detail about the late actress, Sridevi. The filmmaker shared that Sridevi was much more spiritual than him, and it was also because of the late actress that he started believing in spirituality. The filmmaker also added that the late actress did some unusual roles. Citing an example about the same, Boney mentioned that Sridevi used to fire on the pyre after her mom passed away. Boney can be quoted as saying:
"Sridevi was more religious than I was. I started believing more in it because of her. Sridevi did unusual roles and unusual things. She lit the fire on the pyre when her mother passed away."

In the same interview, Boney Kapoor shared Sridevi's equation with his first wife, Mona Shourie. For those who don't know, before Sridevi, Boney got married to Mona, with whom he has two kids, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. However, talking about Mona, Boney added that he often feels guilty, but he has been very honest with her.
He mentioned how Mona was well aware of his feelings for Sridevi. Boney shared that before his marriage with Sridevi, the latter used to stay in the same house as Mona. Sharing an unheard anecdote, Boney mentioned that his mom was also aware of his feelings for Sidevi, and she once asked the actress to tie rakhi on Boney's hand. Boney shared:
"I do feel guilty, but I was very honest with Arjun’s mother, Mona. She was aware of the feelings I had for Sridevi, and I never denied it . Sri had stayed in the same house with her, much before we got married. My mother knew about my feelings for Sridevi, which is why she went to Sri one day and said, ‘Boney ko rakhi baandho’."
Going forward in the interview, Boney Kapoor talked about his fatherhood. The filmmaker stated that he has gotten angry with Janhvi and Khushi for just once, while he never gets angry with his son, Arjun. The filmmaker proves that he is a doting father by mentioning that he understands Arjun's angst against him, which is why he allows the young actor to take it off at him. Boney can be quoted as saying:
"I get carried away with the love I have for my children. I have gotten angry only once with Janhvi and Khushi. I don’t get angry with Arjun; he gets angry with me. I understand Arjun’s angst against me, which is why I gave him the opportunity to take off at me or be angry."

For the unversed, Sridevi died of accidental drowning in a Dubai hotel's bathtub while attending a family wedding. However, talking about the same, in an old interview, Boney revealed that the actress was on a strict diet to ensure that she was in good shape. The filmmaker also added that Sridevi used to get multiple blackouts, and the same incident as Dubai happened to her before; when while shooting one of her films, she fainted in the bathroom and ended up breaking a tooth.
