Bigg Boss is one of the most controversial television shows. And the seventeenth season of the show is no different from other seasons. It has been grabbing a lot of attention for the fights, equations and everything that has been going on inside the house. However, the Diwali special episode of Bigg Boss 17 received a lot of attention as Katrina Kaif joined Salman Khan on the stage. The diva graced the show for the promotions of her and Salman's upcoming film, Tiger 3.
In the promo of the Diwali special episode of Bigg Boss 17, Salman Khan can be seen bashing Firoza Khan, aka Khanzaadi, for fighting on an auspicious day like Diwali. It so happened that Khanzaadi was fighting with her co-contestant, Mannara after the former learnt that the latter called her 'characterless'. Despite being asked by other contestants not to fight, they didn't stop. Later, Salman joined the housemates, and he was angry at Khanzaadi.

In the promo video, Salman can be heard slamming Khanzaadi and asking her if she only knows fighting. The actor also mentioned that Katrina Kaif has come to celebrate Diwali, and here, the house is busy fighting. In his words:
"Khanzaadi aap ko sirf ladna jhagadna hai kya iss ghar me? Katrina aayi hai yaha Diwali ke liye aur ye chal raha hai ghar me? Rubbish this is."
Further, Khanzaadi tried to explain her point to Salman and said, "Sir, she is talking behind my back." But the actor cut her off in the middle and bashed her for talking non-stop. He even warned everyone in the house to not cross their lines. Amid all this, Katrina can be seen silently watching the whole drama. She even tried to calm him down. However, Salman can be seen boiling in anger. He said:
"Yaar maaf kar de yaar Khanzaadi. Bak Bak chalu rehti hai yaar aapki. Ghar pe bhi aise ho kya. Line aur limit na cross kare yaha koi."

Soon after, a Reddit user shared the video on the discussion platform, and netizens flooded the comment section of the post with their reactions. Many even reacted to how Katrina must be thanking God for giving her a husband like Vicky Kaushal. On the other hand, others pointed out how Katrina might have remembered her relationship phase with Salman. While one Reddit user commented, "Katrina ko un dino ki yaar aagyi hogi," another one commented, "Notice her expression between 0.45 to 0.39. Thanking stars? Nah bro she was thanking the entire universe for giving her Vicky Kaushal." One more user reacted to the video and commented, "Katrina having war flashbacks in her head." One more comment can be read as "Katrina having the most insane flashbacks as this is happening."
In an old video from one of Katrina and Salman's interviews, the actor admitted to being violent with Katrina. On being asked about their fights on the sets, the actor shared that there used to be fights between the two regarding creatives. In his words:
"Creativeness pe hamesha jhagda hota hai kyuki ye baad me aayi hai, I have been here for the longest time. Kabhi kabhi I think ye over smart banti thi to inko pad jaati thi. Aur phir jab ye correct hoti thi tab bolte the wah ye correct hain. Jahaan sahi hai sahi hai Jahaan galat hai galat hai."
