Salman Khan grabbed the headlines a few days back, when two unidentified gunmen, under the orders of Lawrence Bishnoi, shot three rounds at the entrance of the actor’s residence, Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai. While nobody was harmed, the actor and his family left no time to file a case and investigation was initiated soon after. Moreover, after some days, these assailants also got arrested. However, the scary incident has certainly left a mark on the Khan family.

On the late night hours of April 21, 2024, Salman Khan’s doting sister, Arpita Khan was seen arriving at the holy shrine of Nizamuddin Dargah in New Delhi. She was accompanied by her children, Ahil and Ayat. The reason behind her visit was quite comprehensible, as she sought blessings of the holy divinity for her brother, Salman Khan and the entire family, in such a time of distress. Arpita even tied a thread at the shrine and sought her mannat for the wellbeing of her bhaijaan. For the visit, she donned a simple pastel pink-hued salwar-kameez, and she duly draped the organza dupatta on her head.

Arpita’s husband, Aayush Sharma reacted to the gunshot attack on Salman Khan’s residence

In an interview with ANI recently, Arpita Khan’s husband, Aayush Sharma commented on the scary gunshot attack launched on his brother-in-law, Salman Khan. The actor took pride in being a part of the superstar’s family and expressed that they stand in solidarity with him and the entire Khan family, over whatever happened in the recent past. Moreover, he refused from commenting specifically and conveyed his deepest regards and love for the enormous number of fans, who prayed for them and wished them good luck. In his words:

“We are his family. It is a tough time for us. And we all as a family stand together. I believe that at this point of time, it will not be appropriate for me to give any statement or comment because it is a grave situation.  I would just say thank you, to everybody who has sent their love and prayers, that means a lot.”


Salman Khan dodged question about his wellbeing at a recent event in Dubai

Soon after such a life-threatening attack, Salman Khan jumped back to work and jetted off to Dubai, surrounded with a heavy entourage of security personnel. The superstar attended a starry event in Dubai, when a media person quizzed him for a few questions. While he answered most of it, the actor seemingly dodged a reply, when the person asked him about his wellbeing, after the gunshot incident.

Arbaaz Khan issued a statement on behalf of the Khan family post the attack

On April 15, 2024, Salman Khan’s brother, Arbaaz Khan took to his social media handle and issued a formal statement on behalf of the entire Khan family, after the gunshot attack at the Galaxy Apartments. Arbaaz set the record clear and dismissed all other quoted reactions of his father, Salim Khan and brother, Salman Khan on the matter. Moreover, he requested everyone to offer his family some privacy and requested all to keep their faith on the government’s law enforcements, who were actively investigating the matter.
