Television actress, Rupali Ganguly has been winning the heart of millions with her stint in the popular serial, Anupamaa. Apart from being an amazing actress, she is a doting wife to her husband, Ashwin K Verma. And the much-in-love couple is blessed with a son, Rudransh. For the unversed, the lovebirds tied the knot on February 6, 2023, and post-embracing motherhood, the actress took a hiatus from the small screen. Rupali and her husband are hailed as the power couple of the television industry, and their mushy camaraderie often makes their fans go in awe of them. Now, yet the same happened as the lovely couple set the internet on fire as they enjoyed in the rain together.
On July 9, 2023, Rupali Ganguly took to her Instagram handle and shared an adorable video with her husband, Ashwin K Verma. In the video, the Anupamaa fame can be seen dancing happily in the rain, while her darling husband protects her with an umbrella. In the next clip, the much-in-love couple can be seen walking under the umbrella, while enjoying their coffee. Later, we even get to see a beautiful moment of the lovebirds as Rupali takes the umbrella and protects Ashwin from the rain. Sharing the video, Rupali penned a sweet note, which can be read as:
"Finding some "us" time in this season of love and romance!! Baarish ke mausam mein thoda romance toh banta hai na?"

In the video, Rupali looked beautiful as she donned a stunning floral-printed co-ord set. Her outfit included a loose-fitted shirt that featured balloon sleeves and matching pants. She accentuated her look with hoop earrings, dewy makeup, and open tresses. On the other hand, her husband looked dapper in a blue shirt which he teamed with grey pants.
Soon after Rupali dropped the video on her IG handle, her fans and friends from the industry flooded the comment section with their cutesy reactions. One of the internet users wrote, "Perfect song perfect jodi." While one commented, "I just can't stop them..just look at them...how perfect they look..", another one wrote, "Hayeeee!!! Most Adorable Couple AshRup Love You Guy's This Song and My AshRUp Was Just Amazing Vibe Uffff Uffff." Earlier, Rupali had appeared on on YouTuber, Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast. During her appearance on the show, the actress had talked about her love story with her husband, Ashwin. She revealed that she met Ashwin during her struggling days. Rupali added that she got an advertisement and he was the client. The actress further stated that Ashwin didn't propose her, so she had to ask him for marriage.
Earlier, in an interview with The Times of India, Rupali had opened up about her hush-hush wedding. Talking about the same, the actress revealed that she and Ashwin got married all of a sudden as they had planned to do a registered wedding. However, her father wanted to perform Kanyadaan and hence, at the last moment, they had to get hitched as per the rituals. In her words:
"I had asked a designer friend to get a blue blouse with my red sari and we waited for the pandit who did not reach till late evening. Ashwin entered a 'no entry' lane and he was fined by the police. It was hilarious how finally Ashwin landed at my home and the pandit started chanting the mantras from the ground floor till he came to my flat. In total, I had around 99 people at my wedding. Ashwin came dressed in a shirt and jeans and then the kanyadan happened and we exchanged garlands. Our wedding was over in few minutes."
