Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda followed in his grandparents’ footsteps and entered into the filmy world after making his Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s film, The Archies. However, not many know that Agastya never wanted to become an actor. In a recent interview, Agastya talked about his career choice.
In an interview with Zoom TV, Agastya Nanda revealed that acting was never on his mind and that he was keen on working with his father, Nikhil Nanda. Speaking about the same, he said:
“Acting wasn’t my first career choice; business was. I was planning on working with my father, but after months of internships and looking around for different job possibilities, I found my heart in acting.”

In the same interview, the actor revealed how he bagged the film, The Archies. Talking about the same, Agastya stated that he auditioned for his role. In his words:
“I was approached to audition for the role of Archie in January 2021. After three rounds, I was locked into September 2021. I took my mother and father’s blessing and told them I would work very hard to make them proud.”
Ever since Zoya Akhtar’s much-awaited film, The Archies came into the limelight, it was widely speculated that the celeb kids in the film, Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda are dating each other. Neither Suhana nor Agastya has commented on the same, but it is reported that their respective families are aware of their feelings for each other.
It all started when a report by the Hindustan Times revealed a source stating that Suhana and Agastya were a couple. Not just this, the source further revealed that their relationship began when they started shooting for their debut film, and Agastya’s mother, Shweta Bachchan too approves of their relationship. The source also added that Agastya even took Suhana for a Christmas brunch, which was arranged by his paternal family, and while being there, he introduced the diva as his partner.

A report by Times Now revealed Suhana and Agastya's families' reactions to their companionship. A close friend of both Bachchans and Khans revealed that, at first, both of the families thought that the companionship between Suhana and Agastya would last as long as they were together for The Archies. But, proving everyone wrong, the duo reportedly continued to be a couple. Talking more about Agastya and Suhana's alleged relationship, the source mentioned:
"Initially both the Bachchans and Khans saw it as pehla pehla pyar. Everyone presumed the bonding would be on for as long as they were shooting together (for The Archies). But the alliance has continued even after The Archies has come and gone. Yes, Agastya and Suhana continue to be a couple. And that’s fine. Let the young people discover love. Who knows where this beautiful relationship would lead to?”
