The actor also added that he's more than glad that his parents had prepared him for these things in advance. He said:

Going further in the interview, Abhimanyu Dassani also talked about his rebellious nature and admitted that despite his parents' best efforts, he had never doubted his dreams of becoming an actor. However, Abhimanyu admitted that if his mother, Bhagyashree and father, Himalay Dassani, had supported him, he would've never become the strong and resilient person that he is right now. Heaping praises on his parents, Abhimanyu explained:

"They used all the tactics in the book one by one. But I was very adamant and headstrong, how young adults are at that age. I always wanted to prove myself and this was the opportunity to do that because it was something they didn't necessarily want me to do at that time. And I was rebellious. Maybe if they had supported me at that time, I wouldn't have been the person I am today."

In the same interview, Abhimanyu Dassani recalled the time when he had finally decided that he wanted to be an actor and how difficult it was for him to make the right call. The actor credited his working experience with ace filmmaker and producer, Rohan Sippy for the film, Dum Maaro Dum. Talking about the intensity on the film's set and how he had fallen in love with everything involved in the process of filmmaking, he said:

"It was a long thought-over decision over many months and years. After I finished my major in finance, I was assisting Rohan Sippy on Dum Maaro Dum. I would go to college in the morning and to the sets in the evening. Somewhere I realised that this is where I want to be, on the set. The energy is very infectious. In that process, I realised I wanted to be an actor so I went and studied at New York Film Academy."

On the professional front, Abhimanyu Dassani will be next seen in the films, Aankh Micholi and Nikamma.
