Popular dancer-actress, Lauren Gottlieb rose to fame with her stint in the dance drama film series, ABCD and ABCD 2. Currently, Lauren is on cloud nine as she got a dreamy proposal from her long-time boyfriend, Tobias Jones. Now, in an interview, she opened up about their first meeting and also how she is gradually moving her base to London. For the unversed, Lauren was earlier linked to her Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa dancer-partner, Punit Pathak. Following this, she was also alleged to be in a relationship with famous Bollywood music composer and singer, Vishal Dadlani.
In an interview with the ETimes, Lauren Gottlieb opened up about her dreamy proposal from then-boyfriend-now-fiance, Tobias Jones. Although she mentioned that the proposal was quite unexpected, but she revealed being ready for it. Mentioning how surreal the entire thing was, Lauren added that even the duo's parents were thrilled to know about the same. She shared:
"I didn’t know it would happen during our Caribbean trip, but believe me, I was ready in case it did. He did such a wonderful job planning and to see him get down on one knee was surreal. The location in Aruba was such that it made the whole scene look so dreamy. We called both of our families after the proposal and everyone was thrilled.”

For the unversed, Lauren Gottlieb and Tobias Jones worked together in the popular dance drama film series, ABCD and ABCD 2. And on the professional front, Tobias is a video creator. Thus, talking about how they collaborated on various projects, Lauren also talked about their first meeting in person. Further, Lauren shared how she is gradually shifting her base with Tobias in London and said:
“We collaborate on a lot of content together. That’s actually how we first met and started working on projects, long distance. I would shoot in LA and he would edit from London. As soon as we met in person we knew this was it. I’ve slowly been moving my life to London.”
At the end of the conversation, Lauren was asked if she and Tobias are planning to get married anytime soon. To this, Lauren immediately replied that the wedding is not on their cards now. However, she explained how Tobias is a huge support system, and he cheered for her when she performed at the Oscars. She concluded:
“We haven’t discussed our wedding yet. We are still in the engagement celebration mode. I’m super keen to get married, but for now I am just enjoying this phase. Having a partner who believes in you and is there for you no matter what is the most comforting feeling, but what is even better is that we push each other forward so we can build the best life together. I’ve shown Tobias all my songs. He was cheering for me when I performed at the Oscar’s (on the award-winning song Naatu Naatu from RRR). The real challenge would be getting him to learn a Bollywood step."

On August 28, 2023, Lauren Gottlieb announced her engagement with the man of her dreams, Tobias Jones. Taking to her IG handle, she dropped some dreamy pictures from her dreamy proposal. In the pictures, we could get a sneak peek into their surreal proposal moment, and the duo was seen radiating pure love. Moreover, while Tobias looked dapper in an all-black outfit, Lauren looked stunning in an orange-hued mini dress.
