The madly-in-love couple had taken the plunge on November 18, 2014, at the Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad in a fairytale wedding. The lovely couple had met through a common friend and had started dating each other soon after. They have never shied away from expressing their love for one another, be it tattooing each other’s name or sharing love-filled pictures on their social media handles. Both Arpita and Aayush are an inspiration to the millennials.
Aayush Sharma and Arpita Khan Sharma along with their kids, Ahil and Ayat are spending time with Aayush’s family in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. On June 30, Aayush’s father, Anil Sharma turned a year older and it was his doting bahu, Arpita, who baked a yummy chocolate cake for him. And it was Aayush Sharma, who couldn’t stop praising his wife. On July 1, 2020, Aayush took to his IG handle and shared pictures of the same with a heart-melting caption for his wife. His caption can be read as “The lockdown has been a learning curve for all of us. @arpitakhansharma is surprising us all with her hidden talent. We all are being treated to amazing food like Corn flake chicken to mushroom pasta, minced basil chicken to lasagna. Yesterday Arpita surprised us all by baking this beautiful cake for my our dad. Arpita Khan Sharma took to her Instagram handle and shared a family picture with her in-laws. In the picture, Arpita's little munchkins looked too adorable for words. While her son, Ahil was seen sitting on his dad's lap posing for the camera with a goofy expression, little Ayat was seen happy in her grandpa's arms. Along with the family picture, Arpita wrote, "Fam-jam in Himachal celebrating dads birthday."
On June 30, 2020, Aayush had taken to his IG handle and had shared some pictures with his father to wish him on his birthday. In one of the pictures, the proud daadu was seen posing with his grandson, Ahil while Ayat had looked like a cotton ball. In a live Instagram chat with Pinkvilla, Aayush Sharma had recounted how he had decided to propose Arpita Khan Sharma. Aayush had recalled shifting his base to Mumbai in 2009 and after two years he had met Arpita. They had become really good friends in no time during one of their interactions, Arpita had told him that she was planning to settle down and will go for an arranged marriage. That was the moment when Aayush had decided to profess his love for her.
The year 2019 ended on a happy note for the Khan khandaan as Arpita Khan Sharma and Aayush Sharma had welcomed their second child, Ayat Sharma. The rumours about Arpita's pregnancy had been doing the rounds, and it was in September 2019, Aayush had confirmed the news at the red carpet of IIFA.
