Followers of TikTok star, Tucker Genal were left saddened when the news of his sudden passing broke on Monday, December 15. His two brothers, Connor Genal and Carson Genal, took it upon themselves to share the tragic news via social media. According to reports, Tucker was only 31 years old when he died. Here's everything we know about the TikTok influencer.
Tucker Genal was a content creator on TikTok, best known for filming fast-paced prank videos. Apart from this, he also did many lifestyle challenges with his brothers, keeping his content fresh and entertaining. Together with his brothers, Connor Genal and Carson Genal, his group was dubbed the Genal Brothers. Turning their family banter into highly structured chaos, Tucker and his group soon amassed over 2.5 million followers on TikTok. Additionally, Tucker had more than 340,000 followers on Instagram. Tucker and his brothers’ rise to fame happened overnight when one of their challenge competition videos went viral.
One might not be aware of this, but before Tucker rose to fame and became someone whom people recognised at every turn, he was just a normal boy who was studying at university. He graduated with a degree in business administration from Furman University in 2018. Following his graduation, he soon secured a job as a social media coordinator for renowned sneaker artist, Kickasso.
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, his cause of death was revealed to be from su**de. Allegedly, he was found hanging at a residence in LA. Tucker's brothers were deeply saddened when they realised that their brother was no longer in the world on December 11, 2025. A few days later, with a heavy heart, they took to Instagram on December 15 in a joint post and wrote:
“I don’t even know where to begin, You were my best friend and an even better big brother, my entire life I’ve spent looking up to you and trying to follow in your footsteps because you were always my hero. I know one thing is for certain and that is that I will continue to spend the rest of my life looking up to you until we meet again. You were the kindest person I’ve ever met and the greatest brother that anyone could have ever asked for.”
In the post, the brothers, who ran a shared TikTok profile with Tucker, called Hustle House, shared a series of photos together with Tucker. In its caption, they further asked their followers to respect their privacy as they mourn the loss of a family member and try to navigate life without him. They stated:
“We are deeply grateful for the kindness and understanding shown to our family.”
Tucker was so beloved by his family and fans alike that, as soon as the news of his passing was announced, everyone began sharing their heartfelt condolences with the family. Reality TV star, Deena Cortese, who you might recognise from MTV's Jersey Shore, commented on the brothers' announcement post, “I am so so sorry for you loss .. I’ve been following you all for a while now.. I may have started following Tucker first .. I never skipped a Genal brother video.” She further added, “Having two boys and my husband having two brothers which remind me a lot of all of you .. your videos felt familiar .. breaks my heart to hear about your loss .. my heart is with you and your entire family.”
Dance Moms alum, Kendall Vertes, wrote, “Sending an immense amount of love and prayers to you and your family, I am so so sorry for your loss.” Influencer, Caitlyn Rae added, “I’m so sorry Carson & Connor. My heart is completely broken for your family. Getting to spend time with you guys and Tucker is something I’ll treasure forever and I’ll always remember the way you all lit up a room together. Sending so so so much love.”
