Instead, this time, his ex, Layla, who mostly stayed away from the spotlight, has filed a paternity suit against him. She claims that he has fathered her 9-year-old. According to some news reports, Layla Sanad is believed to have been in a past romantic relationship with Rapper Future. In contrast to his other high-profile relationships, there is only a little information about her in the public domain. According to court documents obtained by TMZ and other news outlets, she was in a romantic relationship with the rapper several years ago and gave birth to a son in 2017. Her son is referred to in the court documents as KW, and some media outlets claim it means Kash Wilburn. Although Future is a popular public figure, Layla has stayed out of the spotlight, adding more mystery to the case.
Since there is little in the public domain about them and they have made no public appearances, Future's fans are confused about the new claims. However, Layla says that Future privately accepted that he was the father of her son. In fact, according to a separate legal filing in Arizona, the rapper himself admitted that he was the father of a son with her and has been paying montly support for the same. Despite this, Layla now wants a formal acceptance through the court. It suggests that although the ex-couple had informal arrangements for child support, she wants a legally binding arrangement for it.
The legal conflict between Layla and Future started when a case was filed in Florida, where she demanded an official paternity confirmation and child support. At the same time, she requested regular support payments and retroactive child support for 2 years. According to reports, Future filed another document in court requesting dismissal or transfer of the case to Arizona.
He argued that Layla and the child live there, and he had already started legal proceedings in that state. Future further revealed that he has been voluntarily paying USD 3,500 per month to her for child support. Until now, the Florida court has not issued any ruling on the request.
