In a new search warrant reported by the Los Angeles Times, the Beverly Hills police had been investigating the allegation that Lavie drugged her former fiance, Stephen Cloobeck, with ketamine. This adds yet another layer to the 29-year-old creator's ongoing legal troubles.

Who is Adva Lavie, a.k.a. Mia Ventura? Inside her current and past charges

Adva Lavie is a social media personality and model who has appeared in Penthouse and Playboy. Also known by names like Mia Ventura, Shoshana, and Shana, she has also been associated with OnlyFans, though she said in a 2024 podcast appearance that she had stopped creating content for the subscription platform and was studying real estate.

Over the past year, Lavie has gained wider attention, but it has been less about her online content and more about her alleged felony charges. Earlier this year, authorities accused the 29-year-old of using dating apps and social media to connect with wealthy 'sugar daddies' before allegedly scamming them and stealing from them.

Lavie allegedly targeted multiple older men, as well as young women, between 2023 and 2025. She allegedly connected with individuals in areas including Westlake Village, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills. Authorities say she allegedly gained access to her victims' homes by posing as a girlfriend and later stole cash and valuables, including gold and designer goods.

As of now, Lavie has pleaded not guilty to the charges made against her, including two counts of grand theft and two counts of first-degree residential burglary in Los Angeles County. The charges remain unproven, and the model has not been convicted in the case.

Recently, the ketamine investigation came to light after the L.A. Police Department sought a warrant in August 2026 to search Lavie's phone. The Los Angeles Times reported that a Beverly Hills detective had already been investigating whether Lavie drugged her ex-fiance, Cloobeck, 64, with ketamine. However, the exact reason that prompted the investigation remains unknown.

Cloobeck and Lavie were reportedly set to get married on June 18, 2026, according to a 'Save the Date' poster shared by the billionaire. The marriage ultimately didn't happen, and Cloobeck had reportedly filed a report with the Beverly Hills police, though the circumstances behind that report weren't confirmed.

A source familiar with the matter told the Los Angeles Times that the report had been made before the detective encountered Lavie in July 2026. The detective reportedly spotted Lavie taking selfies inside Azur, a French Mediterranean restaurant, while she was out on bail. He noticed that she did not appear to be wearing her court-ordered ankle monitor.

Authorities later found that the monitor was reporting her location at the nearby Peninsula Hotel, according to the warrant. Lavie was subsequently taken into custody. Her attorney, Jeremy Lessen, declined to comment on the drugging allegation.

Adva Lavie's alleged thefts and a Coachella incident

The new investigation follows a series of other allegations involving Lavie. The L.A. Times reported allegations from Indio police, stating that Lavie stole multiple valuable items from a victim during a trip to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The reported items included a USD 8,600 Rolex, Louis Vuitton sunglasses, a card holder, and nearly USD 2,000 in cash. Later, she allegedly drove away in the victim’s Cybertruck.

In a separate case, prosecutors have accused Lavie of stealing from a 78-year-old man she was dating. This time, too, the allegations include theft of items, including cash, designer clothing, and gold coins from his home. Legal documents estimated the losses to amount to nearly USD 121,500. Investigators have also alleged that she asked the man for USD 25,000 for her mother’s funeral, claiming her mother had died. The truth of these allegations has not been established yet.

Amid the mounting legal troubles, Lavie's legal team previously sought mental health diversion, arguing that she needed treatment rather than incarceration. However, a judge denied the request, and Lavie remained in custody without bail. Lavie has pleaded not guilty to the Los Angeles County charges. If convicted, she could face more than 11 years in prison.

Lavie's billionaire ex, Cloobeck, was also arrested in May 2026, after being charged with three counts of attempting to dissuade a witness from testifying and one count of harassment. The couple's engagement reportedly ended in June 2026, following which Lavie moved out of Cloobeck's Beverly Hills house.
