Mike Tomlin is among the best-known American professional football coaches. He served as head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL for a long time, reportedly from 2007 to 2025. He had previously served as a defensive backs coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2001 to 2005 and as a defensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings in 2006.

According to a report by People, Kiya Tomlin grew up in northern New Jersey. Here, she graduated from Morristown High School, as per the Daily Record.
When Kiya was a young girl, she used to dream of becoming a surgeon. However, she also had a big passion for fashion and called it a "fun and creative outlet" while speaking with William & Mary Alumni Magazine in January 2019.
Back in 2014, Kiya decided to turn her passion for design into a full-blown career by launching her own fashion brand. Apparently, the first design idea for her fashion brand was inspired by Mike's routine, such as wearing the same sweatpants to work nearly every day. She told the William & Mary Alumni Magazine, "I decided to just make myself a uniform. Something that I could put on every day that I didn't have to think about." She said that it needed to be practical, and that's when she came up with the idea of the 'Signature Dress.'
As Kiya's business continued to grow, she even opened a storefront and workplace in Etna, Pennsylvania. In 2021, her brand also started including licensed NFL apparel. It is worth noting that Kiya's business has over 36k followers on Instagram. Those who follow Mike might be aware that he often praises his wife's business on IG. For instance, after she showed off her designs at the team's annual fashion show fundraiser, Mike wrote in October 2025:

It was in the ‘90s when Mike and Kiya's love story began. At the time, both of them were students at William & Mary, a university in Virginia. According to the William & Mary Alumni Magazine, Kiya was studying there on an athletic and academic scholarship. She successfully managed her psychology major with gymnastics.
The same magazine stated that Kiya and Mike met each other in the training room while they were both injured. Kiya apparently has an injury from gymnastics, while Mike had an injury from football. Later, the duo decided to get engaged when Kiya was in her senior year at the university.
A look at Kiya's Instagram reveals that she and Mike tied the knot on May 25, 1996. Apparently, the wedding took place merely two weeks after Kiya graduated from university. A year after their marriage, the pair relocated to Tennessee, where Mike had secured a job as a graduate assistant at the University of Memphis. Interestingly, when Kiya was preparing to take the MCAT exam to enter medical school, her husband changed her mind on the day of the exam. Recalling the time, Kiya told the alumni magazine:
"I don’t think I was nervous or anxious that morning. I think I had come to the realisation that Mike wanted to coach. When we got married, I didn’t know Mike wanted to pursue coaching as a career. I thought he would get his master’s degree, get a regular job, and I would go to medical school and be a doctor, and everything would be happily ever after."
Over the years that Mike and Kiya have been married, they have welcomed three children together, sons, Mayce and Dino, and daughter, Harley. According to reports, both Dino and Harley have followed in their parents' footsteps when it comes to athletics. Like her mother when she was in William & Mary, Harley's Instagram bio reveals that she is on the gymnastics team at the University of Georgia. Meanwhile, Dino's Instagram reveals that he played football for Boston College. Sharing a photo from his graduation in May 2024, Dino wrote, “Always proud of your work ethic and dedication.” At present, Dino works as a creative director.
Coming to Mayce, he graduated from Columbia University in May 2024. His Instagram bio reveals that she makes music. Back in October of the same year, Mike shared a clip of him singing onstage and captioned it:
"Man, seeing the work he has put in and then this performance tonight. I am one proud dad. Great job, @maycetomlin.”
