The case surrounding the murder of Celeste Rivas Hernandez is taking horrifying new turns as fresh details about the teen surface. The 14-year-old resident of the Lake Elsinore locality was last reported missing in April 2025, and it wasn't until September that her dismembered remains were discovered in an abandoned Tesla registered to singer D4vd.
With back-to-back horrific details coming up in recent weeks, updated official records about the teen's final moments, an updated official record has ignited fresh scrutiny.
The death record of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, the teen allegedly murdered by the Romantic Homicide singer, has introduced a small but significant change that changes the possibility of what her final days might have been like. Earlier records from September 25, 2025, stated she had not been pregnant in the previous year. However, TMZ recently shared images of an updated coroner's record dated April 22, 2026, showing Celeste's pregnancy category from "not pregnant" to "U", or "Unknown."
While the update does not confirm anything, it has sparked a fresh layer of speculation about whether Celeste may have conceived at the time of her death, and if so, if the baby may have been David's. Amid growing scrutiny of his ongoing trial for the teen's murder, the singer's lawyers maintain he is not guilty.
The upgraded death record comes amid David's trial for the murder of Celeste, as court documents cite text exchanges between the two where they discussed sex, contraception, pregnancy, and abortion. These details have intensified speculation around their relationship and what may have led to the fatal incident.

The new documents also confirm that David amputated the victim's left ring finger because it contained a tattoo of his name, along with the pinky finger. Her dismembered remains were discovered in a partially frozen and severely decomposed state in a Hollywood Hills tow yard on September 8, 2025, just a day after what would have been her 15th birthday. Investigators have pointed to a large volume of digital evidence collected during the case, including messages and other data.
D4vd is currently facing charges of first-degree murder, along with additional counts related to continuous sexual abuse of a minor and unlawful handling of human remains. Prosecutors allege he purchased items such as chainsaws, a shovel, a body bag, and an inflatable pool as part of a plan to dispose of the body, suggesting the motive was to protect his career. His legal team, however, has strongly denied the allegations, stating that the evidence will ultimately prove he was not responsible for Celeste’s death. Meanwhile, the late teen's family has been cleared on charges of child neglect.
