As of now, the Seattle Seahawks led with 29-13 in the fourth quarter, and the excitement about the game is hightened. At halftime, the Seahawks led 9-0, and to mention, it is hardly the lowest-scoring Super Bowl.

It also rarely happened that the final featured only one touchdown. Among 59 Super Bowl games, there had only been one, which was Super Bowl 53, when the Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams' game featured a two-yard touchdown. Sony Michel's two-yard touchdown was the highlight of the final result of 13-3. Apart from that, there had been several Super Bowl seasons where scores had been low. For example, Super Bowl 53 featured a total of 16 points, with the New England Patriots scoring 13 and the Los Angeles Rams scoring 3.

Super Bowl 7 featured a total of 21 points, with the Miami Dolphins' 14 and the Washington Redskins' 7. Super Bowl 9 had 22 points with Pittsburgh Steelers scoring 16, Minnesota Vikings making a score 6. Super Bowl 3 scored New York Jets with 16, Baltimore Colts' 7 points. And finally, Super Bowl 6 featured a seemingly lower score with the Dallas Cowboys' points being 24 and the Miami Dolphins' points being 3.

About Super Bowl 2026: Its first touchdown came with Seahawks' AJ Barner

The Seattle Seahawks marked the first touchdown of Super Bowl LX 2026. Sam Darnold connected with AJ Barner for a 13-yard touchdown, and it happened soon after the Patriots' QB Drake Maye fumbled the ball. Following the first TD of the game, the Patriots scored their first points. The Seattle Seahawks then led 19-7, with the Patriots' Maye throwing a 35-yard TD to Mack Hollins.
