They both attended the 2026 LACMA Art+ Film Gala in Los Angeles on November 7, 2026. In fact, Sofia and Dan made separate appearances just a few hours after she was asked about their reported connection.
Sofia Vergara, 54, came to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in a strapless black lace gown. It was made by Celia Kritharioti. The Modern Family star posed for photos on the red carpet without Dan. Meanwhile, the 39-year-old singer made a separate appearance in a chocolate-colored tuxedo jacket with black trousers.
Notably, their separate appearance came at a time when the speculations about their relationship made headlines after their dinner outing. These rumors started after the duo was seen together at a group dinner in Los Angeles on October 27, 2026. Some photographs of the same were published by TMZ. They showed them holding hands as they left the gathering at Cipriani in Beverly Hills.
Sofia and Dan were also reportedly seen talking at Doja Cat's birthday celebration. However, some people close to the two stars have reportedly described their meetings as friendly group outings rather than romantic dates. When some photographers from DeuxMoi asked Sofia whether she was dating a rockstar, she laughed and replied:
"I wish."
For those who don't know, before being linked to Dan, Sofia was married to Joe Manganiello. They tied the knot in 2015 but announced their divorce in July 2023. The actress later said that differences over having children led to the split. Eventually, their divorce was finalized in 2024. Joe recently spoke about their split during his appearance on SiriusXM's Radio Andy. He shared that he had not spoken to his former wife since their split.
