We've been holding this secret between us for a long time now. And we're going to make Wordle a game show."
Jimmy Fallon further shared that as a host, he is happy for Savannah Guthrie. He was looking for the perfect host for the same and revealed that they wanted someone who knows, like, they play Wordle. A user seeing the post of TODAY wrote, "Yay! Cannot wait for this! It’s going to be fantastic! I bet this is going to be fun. So excited for this! SOOOO excited for Savannah. Wonderful! Love Wordle, love Savannah. Something good to look forward to! This is such a great idea. Love both of them. It’s gonna be fun. Another one said, "Savannah will be the perfect host for this version. And kudos to those in charge for allowing her the time needed to be with her family, waiting to tape." While a user noted:
"I can understand going back to work at the Today show and trying to keep busy and living. But she does have children and a husband so I don't understand why she would want to pile on more work.....I would cherish every minute I could with my family especially after she had been through and is still going through regarding her Mom. Is she leaving the Today show? The show films in Manchester over the summer, can she do both? Isn’t this basically just Lingo though?"
