Salman recently arrived on the sets of Alliance, where Sohail Khan is a contestant. While being on the show, Sohail Khan's elder brother, Salman, made a comment on Riteish Deshmukh, which has grabbed attention.
Along with Alliance, another show, Lock Upp 2 has been running on OTT platforms, and in a word, people are just loving it. Riteish is the host of Lock Upp 2. Recently, Salman Khan appeared as a guest on the show, Alliance. While on the show, Salman Khan made a comment about Riteish that grabbed instant attention, leading people to wonder what the possible reason behind it might be.
Sohail Khan is a contestant on Alliance, and recently, he was seen getting angry while inside the home, as featured on the show. The incident happened just before Salman made an entry, and Sohail eventually turned emotional and revealed to his brother about his anger, which led him to kick a door inside the home.
Salman later asked him if anybody was annoying his brother, leading to his stress. In another segment of the video, Salman Khan abruptly said that Riteish Deshmukh might lose his job. This could possibly be a joke; however, the abrupt mention of Riteish sparked interest about the duo's equation. Speaking about Riteish, Salman Khan said:
"I think Riteish Deshmukh 's job is in danger."
Riteish Deshmukh is hosting the show, Lock Upp 2, which has been doing pretty well on Netflix, and TRP has been high. Riteish has been hosting the show, and he has been winning hearts as well, reportedly earning around Rs. 15-20 lakh per session.
Riteish is known for his cool and peaceful demeanour. Well, during the promotional event of Lock Upp 2, one of the journalists asked Riteish whether he would bring Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt into the 'lock up'. The question was seemingly intended to be a jab, as Sanjay Dutt and Salman are well-known for several controversies surrounding them. One of the journalists asked Riteish:
"Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt are your closest friends. Both have a lot of experience of lock up. So, would you like to get them in Netflix’s Lock Upp? And how would you punish them?"
The question, however, didn't go down well with Riteish Deshmukh, and he looked visibly angry. He instantly got furious and mentioned that it's not his duty to bring someone on the show, as he is a host. He simply added that his duty is to converse with the guests who would appear on the show and nothing more than that. Stating that he would not like to give any dignity to the question, for that matter, Riteish said:
"Sabse pehle mujhe nahin lagta hai ki aapke sawal ka jawab deke main usko koi dignity dena chahunga. I’ll not bring them as my duty is to host. And as a host, I don’t know about the inmates that would appear on the show. Jo bhi guests aate hai Lock Upp mein, unse hum baat karte hai. "
