Sabyasachi's Bride Stole Her Mother's Wedding Lehenga For Her 'Chooda' Ceremony

And as we grow up our, wedding checklist keeps on increasing. Over the years, the wedding trend has changed drastically. Brides are no longer opting for a red lehenga for their big day.

Recently, we stumbled upon a bride, who donned a gorgeous peach-hued lehenga from designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee's collection. We all will agree that Sabyasachi's designs are aspired to revive and give due respect to the refinement of Indian fabrics; and a liberating sense of esteem to Indian artisanry.

Sabyasachi Mukherjee's lehenga for wedding day

Meet our bride of the week, Saumya Chopra, who married her college crush, Kanisth Raghani in ITC Goa. The gorgeous bride had spent her childhood in the Bahamas and the beach was her 'happily ever after. So, the bride made sure to get married on the seashore. However, it was her wedding look that stole our hearts.

The bride had opted for Sabyasachi Mukherjee's peach-hued lehenga, which comprised of golden embroidery and double dupatta. She had accessorised her look with her family heirloom jewellery and traditional kaleere.

On the other hand, her groom, Kanisth donned a peach-hued floral kurta with a pair of cream-coloured pyjama. The couple looked super adorable. The bride had revealed how her hubby, Kanisth had woken up at six in the morning right after their wedding to do a photoshoot, which was done by Sunny Dhiman.

The bride stole her mother's lehenga for her chooda ceremony

For her chooda ceremony, which is the most important ritual for a bride, Saumya had stolen her mother's wedding lehenga. The gorgeousness had worn her mother's red lehenga skirt with a white shirt. She had accessorised her look with floral jhumkis and matching red maang teeka.

Unique ivory lehenga for sangeet ceremony

For her sangeet ceremony, the bride had donned a gorgeous ivory lehenga from Falguni Shane Peacock. Her lehenga featured a bralette-style blouse, which was teamed with a matching skirt and ruffle organza dupatta. Her look was accentuated with smokey eyeshadow and minimal makeup. On the other hand, her groom looked dapper in a black tuxedo.

The bride picked a Neon green lehenga for her mehendi ceremony

The gorgeous bride had picked a neon green lehenga for her mehendi ceremony. Her lehenga was designed by Anita Dongre and had featured silver embroidery. She had accessorised her look with a satlada haar and matching earrings. She had completed her look with a braided hairstyle. On the other hand, her groom had opted for a cream-coloured sherwani with a Nehru jacket. 

Pink lehenga for her sagan ceremony

For her sagan ceremony, the bride had picked a rani pink Seema Gujral's lehenga with kali. She had accessorised her look with side passa, a choker neckpiece and a pair of earrings.

Well, this bride definitely won our hearts with her minimalistic ensemble!
