In a recent conversation with BBC News India, Ranbir opened up about Raha's growing interest in the Hindu epic and how he and his wife, Alia Bhatt, have introduced her to the story through bedtime storytelling. Ranbir revealed that the three-and-a-half-year-old has not only visited the Ramayana sets several times, but has also shot a scene with Sai Pallavi and Ravie Dubey. He shared:

"Raha herself is so interested in the story of the Ramayana. Me and Alia (Bhatt), we always tell her stories. She has visited the sets many times. She has given a shot with Sai and Lakshman (Ravie Dubey) also. So, she's really been a part of this journey. I am so happy that this would be the first story that she will watch on screen because I would like her to watch it."

The actor also shared a cute little tidbit about how closely Raha follows the progress of the film. Recalling her curious questions, he said she often asks him, "Did you shoot with Hanuman today? Did you shoot with Sita today? What did you shoot today?"

The 44-year-old star added that seeing his three-and-a-half-year-old show such enthusiasm for the story says a lot about her growing interest in the epic. During the same interaction, Ranbir also opened up about how fatherhood changed his perception of Lord Ram and the responsibility of portraying the revered character. The actor said the opportunity came at a time when he was already thinking about becoming a better person. He shared:

"I think it was just the self-intention to want to be a better person; it came at the right time in my life, coinciding with me becoming a father."

Speaking about his darling daughter, Ranbir has also revealed that he and Alia have another special celebration coming up along with the grand release. Just ahead of Diwali, Ranbir's 'diya,' Raha, will turn four on November 6, 2026, which makes the occasion even more meaningful for the actor.
