It is worth mentioning that Prithvi and Aakriti got engaged in March 2026, and they have been dating each other since 2024.
It takes immense courage for a person to announce separation after getting engaged, yet Aakriti put on a brave face and penned a long post. On September 17, 2026, Aakriti penned a note on Instagram and shared that, with a heavy heart, she and her fiance, Prithvi Shaw, have decided to part ways.
Without sharing many details about their separation, Aakriti stated that they have different goals for their future that do not align. She revealed that it is a mutual separation. She added that despite the love and care they have for each other, their paths are not meant to be together. She wrote:
"With a heavy heart, I would like to share that my fiancé and I have decided to part ways due to different goals and circumstances for our future. As much as we love and care for each other, we've come to accept that our paths are not meant to be together. With our responsibilities and the circumstances we are currently facing, we have mutually decided to go our separate ways."
Aakriti further penned that she wishes nothing but the best for Prithvi and happiness. She also urged people to respect their privacy and refrain from speculating or making assumptions about their separation. She concluded the post by writing:
"I genuinely wish nothing but the best, peace, and happiness for both of us as we move forward. I kindly request everyone to respect our privacy during this difficult time and refrain from speculating or making assumptions about the reasons behind our decision.
Thank you for understanding and respecting our space."
For the unversed, Prithvi and Aakriti got engaged in March 2026 and shared their happy photos with their fans on social media. However, in July 2026, the buzz around their relationship hitting a rough patch surfaced as Aakriti shared cryptic notes on Instagram.
However, the ex-couple refrained from sharing anything online or addressing the buzz around Prithvi Shaw's cheating. Aakriti's latest statement confirms that the two had parted ways due to circumstances best known to them. Her appearance clearly shows that she does not want people to speculate about the reason behind their separation and unnecessarily give their relationship the limelight and hate.
Talking about Aakriti's cryptic note. She took to her Instagram handle and shared an IG story, wherein she mentioned how she had been cheated on so many times, yet she never said a word. However, she could not believe that after taking one step ahead, she again got cheated. She wrote:
"I got cheated on so many times, yet I never said a word. Still can't believe that after taking one step ahead. Everything is true; every rumour is true. What you see on social media about him."
