Nancy Grewal, an Indian-origin YouTuber and blogger, was brutally kil*ed in Canada on March 3, 2026. It has come as a shock and raises questions of safety as the attacker attacked her at night, where there was no CCTV surveillance. Now, Nancy's mother revealed the truth about her daughter's passing and how it was executed.
Nancy Grewal hailed from Narangwal village in Ludhiana district. The family of Nancy Grewal are mourning her demise, but they are tight-lipped about what led to her shocking demise. As per reports, it was due to her open thoughts on the matters of Punjab and widely discussing the Khalistan topic.
It is worth adding that the local revealed that Nancy's family was closely related to former Panch Ranjit Singh Grewal. Later, they moved to Jodhan village on the Pakhowal-Ludhiana road, while some members reportedly shifted to Jalandhar. Talking about Nancy's mother, Chhinder Pal Kaur lives with one of her daughters in Jalandhar. She is demanding justice.
In an interview with PTI, Chhinder accused certain hardliners residing in Windsor of being responsible for the murder of her daughter. She went on to claim that the people living there know the truth, but they won't say a word due to the person's scare. She shared details about her daughter's last moment and revealed that she was stabbed with a knife 18 times on stomach. She said:
"Chaku mare the. 18 chaku maare, pora pet phaad diya ander ander. Reiki kiti se unanu pata si. (They stabbed her with knife 18 times on the stomach. The people had done reiki of the year and knew that the place had no camera.)"
As per the police report, it was around 9:30 p.m. on March 3, 2026, when emergency services got a report of a stabbing in the 2400 block of Todd Lane. As per the eyewitnesses, a woman was suffering from stab wounds. Members of the Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services rushed the woman to the hospital, but they couldn't save her, and she succumbed to her injuries.
According to further reports, on March 4, 2026, police officers cordoned off two homes between Canada Street and Bishop Street on Todd Lande and placed yellow tape around the wooded area a kilometre away. On March 5, 2026, Nancy Grewal's sister took to her Instagram handle and shared a heart-wrenching note for her. She posted a photo of Nancy in a white ensemble.
Atop the photo, it was written, "Rest in peace, Nancy Grewal, 19 January 1981- 3 March 2026. My sister, my strength, my forever memory, until we meet again." Along with it, Nancy's sister penned a note for her late sister about how she lost her. She added that her sister will always live in her heart. She wrote:
"With a very heavy heart I share that my beloved sister Nancy Grewal has passed away on 3 March 2026. I lost my sister, my strength, my forever friend. Rest in peace, my sister. You will always live in our hearts."
The police confirmed that the victim was Nancy Grewal and extended sympathies to her family in these testing times. As per the authorities, it is the only incident, and there is no threat to the wider community. Detectives further urged people to come forward with relevant information on the matter and requested surveillance footage from nearby homes, which could help provide details about the events.
