Did Musafir Cafe's Mahima Makwana Once Slap Co-Star Lakshya, With Whom She Was Linked Find Out

Mahima Makwana and Lakshya Lalwani were one of the most talked-about TV pairs. The duo's chemistry was a hit in Adhuri Kahaani Hamari.

Musafir Cafe actress Mahima Makhwana was linked to Lakshya years back. Long before the actress addressed the duo's dating rumours, both of them had hogged the limelight due to an alleged fight at a Holi event. Mahima was accused of slapping Lakshy Lalvani a.k.a Lakshya and he had set the record straight that nothing of that had happened.

There was a lot of buzz in the TV circles once upon a time that Mahima had slapped Lakshya post a disagreement. In an earlier interview with the Times Of India, he had explained that Mahima at a Holi event had applied colours on him which was unintentional. Later when the actor had gone to apply colour on her, she rubbed her hands on his face and due to that force his sunglasses had fallen off and colours had gone inside his eyes. He had felt uneased and had briefly walked away from the media interactions. Lakshya slammed reports stating being slapped by Mahima and revealed:

"It was a trivial argument, which often happens between any two co-actors. I didn't react when she excitedly applied colours on me during a media interaction at the Holi event as I realised it was unintentional on her part. But later when I applied colours on her face, she vigorously rubbed her hands on my face due to which my sunglasses fell off and the colours entered my eyes."

Lakshya admitted that he was not in a state to give an interview. He got back within 20 minutes to finish the interview. Reports of him getting slapped by Mahima are all baseless and shocking. He stated wondering why people don't even verify before writing such things. The actor  had denied being slapped and had even questioned the reports without things being verified.

Mahima Makwana and Lakshya were one of the most talked-about TV pairs. The chemistry of the duo was a hit in Adhuri Kahaani Hamari. Their on-screen bond was so good that both of them had kicked off dating rumors. There was also gossip that both had a ungly fight off-screen but this had not affected their equation.

According to reports, Lakshya was only 19 when he played the role of 'Krish' in &TV's Adhuri Kahani Humari. He was in the eye of the storm ever since the news of his differences with his then 16-year-old co-star Mahima. A Redditor had commented, "The dashing actor recently found himself in a messy soup after rumors about him having differences with his co-star Mahima Makwana surfaced. There was also buzz of Lakshya being slapped by Mahima on another occasion. Calling this baseless news, he averred, “This is quite shocking. I wonder why people tend to spread such rumours."

Mahima Makwana earlier had also said no to doing an intimate consummation scene with actor Lakshya. This was when both of them were seen in the series named Adhuri Kahani Hamari, Mahima had said no to a consummation scene in the serial.

The makers of the show wanted to amp up ratings of the serial and the makers had planned to make the sequel. They had all the hopes, but during the shooting time, Mahima had suddenly said no, and it shocked everyone. A source from the production house narrating about the incident had told Asianage.com:

"We all were looking forward to shoot the consummation scene and had planned it aesthetically to make sure it did not look outrageous in any way. To make matters worse, Mahima’s mother was also present on the set that very day. I guess her presence made the actress conscious and she flatly refused to film the love scenes with Lakshya citing she is not comfortable.”
