All about Trivia Elle Muhoza's gown, which depicted layers of childbirth

Trivia Elle Muhoza's gown is currently the talk of the town. The stunning attire was crafted by couturier Keesha Abdallah, who called the dress "more than just a beautiful piece of fashion." The dress is nothing short of artwork, as it symbolically depicts the layers of childbirth. The gown was presented as Uganda's entry for the World Designer Award segment of the Miss World Festival, and she is gearing up for the finals of the Miss World Beauty with a Purpose.

According to the official Miss World post, Trivia's mermaid-style creation was inspired by the sacrifice of mothers and was designed to celebrate the journey of childbirth through its colour, texture and movement. The Miss Uganda champ's gown was inspired by a Cesarean section. Designer Keesha used flowing tulle and layered textures to create a visual representation of the distinct layers and stages of the birth process.

Sharing the dress-making process and the thought behind the outfit on social media, Keesha stated that "the movement of the fabric reflects the emotions and transformation that accompany motherhood." Even the colours used in Trivia Elle Muhoza's pageant gown carried profound meaning. It included beautiful ombré colours, from peach and gold to coral, red, maroon and burgundy, and each portrayed the seven surgical layers C-section moms go through to meet their baby.

The skin-colored outer layer depicted skin, followed by a golden layer for fat, an orangish-brown layer for fascia, a red layer for muscle, a maroon layer for peritoneum, and a pinkish-orange layer for the uterus. The next and final layer consists of a slightly darker shade of the pinkish-orange colour depicting the amniotic sac, inside which lies the baby. Trivia's outfit was an ode to the journey from nurture to birth, while pearls, glass beads and crystal stones added depth and elegance to the design.

Trivia's mermaid-style gown also had a train starting from the left shoulder, which enhanced its beauty manifold. The 22-year-old pageant queen carried the dress like it was meant just for her. She exuded confidence as she struck elegant poses in the outfit. The gown, which was a mixture of shades of peach and red, was perfectly complemented by Trivia Elle Muhoza's black hair and minimal makeup.
