Rachel, whose full name is Rachel Anne Sennott, was born on September 19, 1995, in Simsbury, Connecticut, to parents, Jack Sennott and Donna Sennott. Rachel is the oldest among the five siblings in the Sennott household. According to reports, her family is of Irish and Italian descent. Having grown up in a Catholic household, Rachel has often talked about how strict her parents were and how they shaped her beliefs as a child. In a November 2022 interview with The Editorial Magazine, she said:
“My parents were really strict when I was growing up, but they’re a lot more relaxed on my younger sibling. I couldn’t watch PG-13 movies. My parents did not want me watching sex stuff. I was really religious. I wasn’t going to have sex until I was married.”
Coming to her education, Rachel attended Simsbury High School and successfully graduated in 2014. After her graduation, she promptly moved to New York to pursue her passion for acting. Here, she studied at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Additionally, she also trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, which helped her lay a strong foundation for a career in comedy and film.
During a conversation with Forbes in 2020, Rachel revealed that the reason she got into comedy. Surprisingly, it was because of a man she dated while studying at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. She said:
“As a freshman in college, I was dating this guy who said he was a stand-up, all he really did was open mics. I went with him to an open mic. I didn’t know what stand-up was really, so I wasn’t afraid of it. I kept going because it was really fun."
As someone who is always in the spotlight, her relationship which got the most attention was when she was with Logan Miller. In 2020, she told Paper magazine that she was seeing someone during the COVID-19 pandemic. Although she did not reveal who this mystery man is, eagle-eyed fans were quick to catch on when Logan started posting pictures of them together on his Instagram account. In 2021, He even addressed Rachel as his ‘love’ which sent fans into a frenzy. For Rachel's birthday, in September 2021, she shared a series of photos with the caption, “Happy Birthday to the love, the queen, the G.O.A.T. The most beautiful soul I’ve met inside and out. According to reports, the couple is believed to have parted ways in 2024, when during a Saturday Night press tour, Rachel mentioned watching a movie with her ex-boyfriend's family. Following her breakup with Logan, Rachel has not publicly talked about currently dating anyone. However, in June 2025, the 30-year-old actress was seen grabbing dinner with 28-year-old music producer, Blake Slatkin, in Sushi Park, a popular restaurant in West Hollywood, Calif.
