Heath made his acting debut with an uncredited role in a television movie, Clowning Around, in 1991, following which he went on to play important roles in other projects like Home and Away, Roar, A Knight’s Tale, Ned Kelly, Lords of Dogtown, and more. Michelle’s father, Larry Richard Williams, has been a stock and commodity trader and wrote a few books, including Long-Term Secrets to Short-Term Trading. Michelle had once watched a theater production of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, which generated her interest in acting. Michelle was a teenager when she worked in theater productions like Annie. Years after entering films and television, Michelle did not stop performing in theater, with plays like Killer Joe, Cabaret, Blackbird, Anna Christie, and more.

David Hasselhoff’s Baywatch marked Michelle’s first appearance on television. Although she was featured on one episode of the show in 1993, Michelle was cast for a few more shows over the years. Michelle Williams started playing leads on television

Back in 1998, Michelle Williams came into the spotlight as 'Jen Lindley,' who was featured in all six seasons of Dawson’s Creek. The teen drama contributed to the popularity of other shows that had teenagers as the main characters. While the show ended in 2003, Michelle took a long break from television and appeared in an episode of Cougar Town in 2013. Michelle later served as an executive producer of two shows, Fosse/Verdon and Dying for Sex, and also played the lead role in both.

The character did not return in the third film, Venom: The Last Dance, as director Kelly Marcel wanted to focus on the bond between Eddie and Venom.

Michelle and Heath got engaged around two months later and welcomed a daughter named Matilda Rose in 2005. The couple separated in 2007, and the news came around a year after they appeared together at the Academy Awards in 2006.
